Back in high school when I was getting bullied, I would listen to this song in the morning before class started. It helped me build a lot of confidence in myself. It made me not give a shit about other peoples opinions about me.

@@sihiri_kabari just to make it clear: i don't support violence at all. But in my case that did put and end to the jokes, and from that point on i became basically untouchable at class, and every bully started to look different at me and instead of me ignoring them, they ignored me. I think that's a better way to handle it instead of continue to live that everyday and pretend that it doesn't happen, that's a weak move. Throwing a chair at the bully also works very well.
If you get in trouble, at least you'll learn how to deal with consequences from a young age, it's good to form a strong personality in the future + you'll make people think twice before messing with you again. At least that's what i take from my experience.

Grew up in the hood and i promise Eminem is always being bumped. Back in the day and to this day. I hear Lock It Up & Till I Collapse the most, someone's always bumping Eminem. Those aren't even close to being the only two songs, it's just the songs i hear the most.
Anderson crushes it on Lock it Up. He gels with Em so well on that track. The hook is slick as hell and Em does his thing in between. It's lyrical but still kinda gets you hyped. Best of both worlds.

Em’s actually admitted on a few songs that he did in fact pistol whip him. The reason why this differs to what he said on Sing For The Moment is because he wrote about half of the album before the verdict and then the other half after. I’m guessing he didn’t want to admit to it in a song before the verdict just in case it was leaked and affected the outcome. I forget which interview it was. It wasn’t too long after the album dropped though.

There's so many sounds and themes woven throughout this album like marches, imagery of the world on his shoulders, the grit and extra annunciation on similar vowels over the course of a verse. That's why I feel like this is his best album, he produced damn near the entire thing, and people throw the term "cohesive" around pretty liberally these days but this album is exactly that. Listen to third verse of this song and then go back and listen to The Slim Shady LP, it doesn't even sound like the same person.
He was not 'trolling' at all in this song. He really was about that life back then.
This is probably one of my top songs atleast for the album I do go back and listen too this song a lot honestly Eminem is just the goat period I don’t care what any hater or whoever that thinks different the man will go down in history as the greatest rapper that ever did it and quite honestly he literally is the best rapper alive point blank will always be on the top of my list!

You should definitely react to In your head from revival. In the 2nd verse there's this absolutely crazy rhyme scheme, his cadence and pronunciation are on another level. The structure of this verse comes great with the lyrical side where he just spills his most personal shit. One of his most heart hitting songs ever.
