Proof from the very beginning Jesus never testified of himself, but of the Father (John 5:31). In Isaiah 44:6, God speaks through Jesus and says, “Thus said the Lord (Jesus), the King of Israel AND his Redeemer the Lord of hosts (God, the Father): I am the first, and I am the last, and besides me there is no God.” These are the words of God, the Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus was sent as a servant of God to relay His word and reconcile us, his children, back to Him. The Father is the only one never created; the only one Jesus said we cannot reach except through him; God. If we do not go through Jesus to reach the Father, we remain lost.
