I always loved when Elvis would play with that 3 octave range of his. To quote an article I read. 'very narrowly all at once a tenor, baritone, and bass'. Some opera singers said in interviews that Elvis could sing like them but they couldn't sing like Elvis.

Absolutely beautiful voice and he’s so emotive that you find yourself closing your eyes but then they pop open so you don’t miss any of his performance. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. Such a God given talent with no formal music lessons. He used to say no one will remember me. It’s 45 years since his death. He’s an icon known for his first name only & has a movie coming out about him by one of the world’s most famous directors starring Tom Hanks & Austin Butler. Mr. Presley, if you can see us now, I’m sure you have a tear in your eye. Thanks for playing this Sir & God bless. ❤️🎸🕺🏻🎤🙏🏼

To me, this is the best time period for his music. He was in great physical shape and his voice was excellent. This song is one of my favorites of the time period. The late 1950’s and early ‘60’s would fit into this category for me too, as a best time period for him.

Hey Capt, number one I respect your service, thank you. This came across my feed maybe because I've been watching some Elvis reactions because that baz luhrmann movie came out and I generally like his stuff anyway and I think he did a good job man it was the first one I've seen since before the pandemic and while they couldn't capture all the stuff about Elvis because they're just so much, he did a pretty good job. And it's quite the spectacle. You've got Tom Hanks as the unreliable narrator as his erstwhile manager the fake Colonel Tom Parker who is also pretty much go his captor,
if you want to think about it that way.

I have listened to all 50 of the songs in which the LPO remade his songs (leaving his voice intact). In my opinion the LPO improved only two songs : Burning Love and I've Got A Thing About You Baby.
The rest of the treatments were overlaid with too much instrumentation, voices --making everything sound too busy. In my estimation less is more.
I'm willing to listen to other Elvis songs that the LPO might do in the future. I might like a few. Priscilla gave a favorably nod to the production of each remake. I differ. I think Elvis would be of my opinion --which is still just an opinion of mine. :-)
