What would the prereqs be for this course? I'm getting a bit overwhelmed by the notation and not fully following all of the algebraic manipulations using P and E etc. Incredible lecture series though and learning an absolute tonne.
For the questions in the lecture videos, may I know where I can find the answer for them? Some of them are hard for me so it would be great if there are some materials I can check them. Thanks!
Hmm, you might not have official answers until the course book is published (probably near the end of 2021). However, you can probably get good unofficial answers on the course Slack, especially in some of the channels such as #help or the study group channels.
Wonderful videos. Could you show how to select method in different applications in the latter chapter? Since so many methods have been discussed, I am confused which one to take. And you mentioned this is from the machine learning sight, would the pros and cons of machine learning compared to the traditional econometrics be summarized in the latter course?
Amazing lectures! I am learning so much in such a quick time. Thanks! When is your book coming out? I’d want to get my hands on that :) The slack channel seems to be closed for now. Any other way to get invited?
You prolly dont give a damn but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would love any help you can give me
@Jedidiah Douglas Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Very dense material, excessive and non intuitive use of notation..one could just as well read Woodridge and a host of research papers. If the goal of the course is to teach, I'm not sure this will teach anyone anything. The effort to parse the material is too much.
would you attach the data for exercise

@Jedidiah Douglas it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass!
@Antonio Rhys you are welcome :)
Hi professor I hope you are doing well is it possible to send me data like this I will try to do it in stata

I strongly disagree with this comment! His explanation is clear, this channel is one of those rare gems on youtube.
