Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012 (NFS001) Gold Medal "Liberty Park" Ambush Event gameplay with Stock Ford F-150 SVT Raptor.
Modifications:
All stock except powershot nitrous.
There are 2 ways to take on this challenge. You can use the tank to wreck every single Cop at the beginning, or you can use agility by going in and out of the park. This video shows the agility method. Equip lightweight, track tires and short gears for a better chance, but I've handicapped myself using stock mods to show. Don't forget to make use of jumps, they are very helpful too. Caution, try not to be a bit greedy and go to the spray booth, it's also a spawn point for Cops. And they can spawn right in front of you.

This is by far the hardest mission in the game. Damn near impossible until you have the truck spaded with everything that helps speed, acceleration and control.
I'm pretty sure people started checking if their graphics cards were crapping out because of these ambush cutscenes,

after so many tries I finally got 1:34, it was nightmare... I can feel my heart pumping from so many retry
those cops: cop pyramid cop spinner and WTF
This race sucks. The cops are bloody cheaters, and the Ford truck is very poorly balanced in the game, IRL they're tough as balls, handle really well and take off like a rocket. Also, why in God's name is it rear-wheel drive? Who gets a kitted Raptor, chrome-clad with extra LEDs, and cheaps out on 4x4?
This game is dumb as fuck. Ever time you take out a cop it immediately spawns another one several meters away.
If you stop somewhere and turn off your car in cool down the levels decrease much faster. Could of shaved off 20 seconds from this video if by the building instead of driving around it.
um I've tried it hundreds of times and this helped lots thank you also i had to get the other races to finish this

1:28, Actually until this cool down period, i just slow down and checking on radar to stay out the sight of cops , and it works for me, i dont even need to run or escape further.
Used your method but I was doing the Lamborghini Aventador and it fucking worked dude thanks for the advice I completed it in 50 something seconds
I used it too in the f-150 with the repair place and got 1:11
That's DICE for you. I do like it though, adds a unique feel to the game.

I remember there was 1 missuon I never beat, was wondering what it was. Picked up the game again because it was on sale, and now I know which one. If there weren't cars already set up within a minute of driving in every direction, then it would be more fair, but its just a lot of "oh I escaped from everyone near me" into "oh of course there were 2 cops stationed inside the tree"
My bad, with all the DICE billboards I thought they had something to do with Most Wanted since they worked with Criterion in Hot Pursuit.

I've tried copying the route from every video watched on this event, and still
get Busted. The cops keep up on every jump, I've used all of them in the park.
I'm on PS3, did it get tougher cops than 360/PC?
I've been trying for 4 years to beat, and yeah they had much harder cops, they spawned directly on you anytime you got into a cooldown.

omg, just followed the rute till you get to the little building at 1:11 , then just hid in there out of sight till finished

i tried this more than 10 times with the ford, ariel atom, BAC, but it is impossible, the cooldown go slowly and it ends only after 2 minutes, and i need gold in this
You can shut down your engine manually

Reckon you could go alot quicker than this, possibly a bit unlucky with the cops spawning in at the spray booth, but im willing to bet thats another flaw with this game!

I HATE this event. It doesn't help when you have a Burnout- Style driving game with unresponsive, slow, sluggish handling combined with that POS Ford pickup. It's like like trying to manhandle the moon with a fork.
Whoever thought about adding this car in the game should be kicked in the nuts. Worst car ever. Screw this crap.

This ambush does not take skill at all. It's all dumb luck, and I fucking HATE games where you have to test your luck at winning something.
This event is horrible. Is this a Need for Speed game? Why do I have to drive a fucking truck?
