FYI for anyone planning to buy this fan: sometime around early 2023, Dewalt improved the wheels from a hard plastic to the soft rubber version Mark has here. I'd recommend checking to make sure the date on the box is later than ~2022 if you want to be sure you get this improved rubber version.
I’m in Corpus Christi Texas. Hot is 90’s with humidity.
Oh dang, that's hot! Sounds like a big fan would come in handy in that heat.
@@txvet7738 Where are you in Texas? We get over a 100 and 110 heat index. Go outside and you feel the sun burning your skin.
@@Jupefires I’m in Central Texas, thank god for a lil less of the humidity on my end…lol!
You mention a hum from the motor. I just plugged mine in after unboxing and the engine definitely is emitting a tone(hum). I can hear it from an adjacent room even on the lowest speed. The sound reminds me of a old 60's refrigerator or the old ballast in a fluorescent shop light. I'm not sure if I will be able to live with that tone.
I haven't tested any other fans that size to see how they sound. The smaller battery powered 18" don't have the hum.
All over the mower dude?
Question of the day: How do you keep your garage or shop cool in the summer?
