  • This is a basic compound leg workout comprised of movements that work many different muscles at the same time including quads, hamstrings, calves and glutes. To heighten the burn, we use supersets, starting with 2 dumbbells for the first 45 seconds immediately followed by 1 dumbbell, usually an isometric hold or variation of the first exercise. We then end with a 1 minute high squat finisher just to top things off. This s a great session to come back to when you are short on time (busy day) or want to track your progress from week to week (adding reps or increasing weight).
    As always, modify the exercises according to your needs. This is labeled as a dumbbell workout but you can do it BODYWEIGHT only. Make this session your own. Quality over quantity. 🙂
