Oops! I said the first brocante is called Jean-Paul Durville because that is how you’ll find it on Google but I think the real name of the shop is “bouc qui fume”
The first place is a true antique lovers heaven. My heart skipped a beat at the beginning when I saw the all the books😍. I’m a huge book collector/lover. In addition, I also create journals with antique European books, and documents, which are not that easy to come by for a reasonable price in NYC.
Of the things you brought home, the wee white tureens were my favorite, but those copper jam pans were amazing!! I'm a professional baker, and finding a big pan like that where I live, or even online, is impossible- and that shop has them just stacked up, lol!!!😂😂😂. I'm also always struck by how quiet things are in your videos, even though you're in town settings..lovely ❤
….. I paused the video to say “I know I’m absolutely going to loved this video”! I felt like I was walking right through that door with you. Thanks you! Peace-
Love your taste in pottery. Those bowls! I am afraid I would have been sneezing all through the first brocante. Way to dusty for me. Wish I could find stores here in the States that had prices you have. Thank you.
What a wonderful day out and such fabulous finds. I would also buy the same sort of things you purchased as I love the more rustic and natural colours and styles. I would love these types of things for my apartment project that we are doing in Tuscany at the moment but they're not easy to find in Italy. Just love your styling ...à la prochaine! 🥰🤗😚
I Love everything! I live in the States and I too love old pages from books, etc. I can’t tell you how much I pay for French flea market pages( too much!) …your friend did very well with her finds. Love it when you take us along Brocante shopping 🧡😊🤎
What a wonderful video. As someone who absolutely loves to go antiquing, I loved going with you while you were looking for new treasures. I really appreciate you didn’t add music, but let us hear the normal background sounds you’d hear while out and about.
I just loved it all! I think my favourite are the large jugs you showed first and the deeper shade of the Digoin bowl. I think it compliments the cream ones. Beautiful!❤
I love going with you to the wonderful brocante shops. I love everything that you found on this trip--especially the Digoin bowls. Thank you for sharing!
It looks like there is way more to find at the bourgogne then by us here in the lot et garonne. I was brocante hunting a few days ago but did'nt find so much.
I don’t always find this much either and have to say that it varies a lot in different areas of Burgundy. It is definitely more expensive where I live than where I shot these videos! Also try leboncoin! Some of my best dishware items are le bon coin finds!
I actually found one of the paler large digoin in a thrift shop in Stockholm so that came home with me! Have also found a few in the Kringloops. Absolutely LOVE those large jars you showed on the table at the beginning of your reveal….❤
I’m curious about whether you find oven-safe ceramics at brocantes. My husband is French & we visit his sister a couple of times a year in 🇫🇷. I’m interested in buying casseroles & soup dishes for individual soupe à l’oignon n the oven cheaply for when we are there.
Ik kom ogen te kort. Wat een paradijs qua brocante. Je geweldige grote kannen, vazen of hoe ze mogen heten. Verliefd erop. Heb zelf een kleine versie ervan. Zoek ook een grote. Geniet van je aankopen. Tot volgende video. Elke keer genieten❤
I’ve been to brocantes before, but I’ve never been to the recycle type store before. I’ll have to see if there’s one nearby that I can check out. Thanks for sharing!
Oooh I would have love to check this brocante out when we were there, I’m looking for old papers, fabrics, like your friend I do arts & crafts, so I add the shop in my google maps for France 25-26 trip 🤞 but I did get a couple books at the Emmaus in Sasoge. Best of all I loved staying at the cabin🤍
How FUN! did you ask how much the casserole/covered that you took the lid off (had a bird and flowers blue and white)? Its a pattern I collect, I am drooling. I LOVE the jars you bought, I want to buy these whenever I see them but have no random corners to put them or shelving. if you had a fab big kitchen they would looked so wonderful high on a shelf against rock wall
reading reviews for the first stop; and says high prices. did you find the prices high? I saw you looking at several terre de fer plates, were they high priced?
@@darladressler I don't think they were, at least not for a brocante (instead of a thrift shop). I have to say prices are so different depending on where you go, regions etc. The one piece dishes (so not sets) were 5 euros each. I have seen them for as much as 8 or even 12 euros elsewhere. But they could be 2 or 3 at a thrift store...
Prices are very different from one shop to another and depending on the region. This wasn’t the cheapest I’ve seen but definitely not the most expensive either!
If you mean Bordeaux, yes there is a really good one where I filmed as well, lhere’s the link th-cam.com/video/F2rpdzaFL44/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bBG12m3dfmAoxOuI
Oh my lord! You are so lucky I absolutely love your videos 😊 I am interested in the bowls however I don’t see your email in the description box below only your instagram thank you so much for sharing so much beauty

It is!!
I love it when you go brocante shopping...so much stuff in that first shop.....wish we had dishes & bowls like that in my area.
Thanks! You can easily find them online as well. Are you in France?
So many wonderful things! I love the shops that I need to hunt through!!
Me too!!
I absolutely love your Brocante/Antique/Thrift Shop videos. I love shopping with you in France. 💕
Thanks for coming along!

Oh I think I could spend a week in that brocante, amazing! And the building! Wow!
Loved that shop and how packed it was!!! I saw a few things I would have bought, I also liked the things you got ❤
oooh now you have to tell me what you would have bought!
Très agréable vidéo, merci, à bientôt .
Merci à vous 😊
I would love to go to the second shop the recycling center. So many beautiful plates! Both of you got wonderful things.
That one is absolutely amazing! This was my third time there and I had so many good finds again!
All those old catalogs and papers are very popular to use in art journals

This is heaven to me especially the resourceserie , so many hidden treasures to find 😊

I really liked that too!

Avec plaisir 😊
Love this kind of brocante! Dig dig dig to find those hidden gems. 😉😊
Yes!!
I’m definitely in the’I love it’ camp for the that first brocante. I love your haul, but I have the deepest love for those small flat plates 😄
I really like those too! Thanks for coming along with us!
Those "jarres"/jugs are just beautiful! Excellent find!
I think so too!

Oh the first place was marvelous. I love to go treasure hunting. Were the cobwebs priced extra? 😊
😂
That was a very cool cobweb across the stained glass window.
Droooling!!
I get it!
I actually found one of the paler large digoin in a thrift shop in Stockholm so that came home with me!

What a wonderful Brocante store like an Aladdins cave love your purchases very interesting items thanks for sharing ❤️🏴x

C'est ça!
Thank you for this. 🙂

just lovely xx
Thank you! 😊
Fabulous
Thanks!
It's hard to believe such a place exists in a chapel in a small town. Treasure!

Yes you will definitely find those at most Emmaüs and brocantes!
Heaven on earth 🙏🏻
Beautiful finds ❤! So nice you've found a new adress. Can't wait to go and visit it myself soon!
You should!
Love your brocante videos 😊
Thanks!
Oh the copper saucepans! I’m so envious. They cost several fortunes here in Australia, and we can’t find second-hand at all
Fun time❤
Thanks!
OMG the plates are beautiful too 4 if you have.

The building is original or just partial from the 13th century? Amazing
@@chattykathie7129 I read in the google maps comments it was from the 13th century. It wouldn't surprise me, it is a former chapel.

The reason there is so much stock in the first place is because of the high prices!
Prices are very different from one shop to another and depending on the region. This wasn’t the cheapest I’ve seen but definitely not the most expensive either!

Not really a town shop though which has to pay high rents & local taxes.
She/he should discount because of that.
Forgot to say I love the big jugs you found.
Thanks! I was so happy to find them!
Прекрасная посуда, кувшины красивые
Thank you!
And I wouldn't mind a large one too.
Ooo, I love the little white pots you purchased. Do you have any of those for sale ?
With the little lion heads? How many would you like? Can you send me an email on bonjour@lasourcebourgogne.fr?
OMG I would love 4 and the brown salad bowls do you ship to New York ?
I just had a package that arrived to the US with some items broken… I will not do shipping anymore as this happens too often. I’m sorry 😞
Hello nice video! Do you know similar places like the first one on Asnois, near to Burdeos? Thank you and nice work! 0:04
