Thanks for being a fan of some of the best times I ever had in my life, and pulling the video off my page and getting it out into the world wide web by re-posting with all your Six Flags videos! I was in college - a senior at Texas Wesleyan University when I donned the cape & cowl for the first time, and my best friend Hugh Richard Massey was just beginning to get behind an 8mm video cameras and cutting his chops in the editing room. He kept this video for 20+ years (there's a nighttime edit too on my page) and digitized them for me as a 40th birthday present 7 years ago. It makes me smile to read all the comments below and remember how much joy it brought me to "play in my Batman sandbox" complete with gasoline powered toys, as well as the thrill it brought to thousands of children who saw the shows and had the chance to meet one of their heroes in person! Best time of my life! Thanks for finding my page! I wish these kinds of shows would make a resurgence to the theme parks in current times - they were so much fun!
Same here I miss these shows. Theme parks to me haven't been the same since they have gone commercial. Even Disney World. They use to be more fun and original. Now it's just rides. Not everybody can do rides. With a kid like me when I was eight with a heart problem I couldn't go on Roller coasters. So the stunt shows and actions shows at Six Flags and Disney was all I had. I remember going to the Batman Stunt Show three times a day. I loved the feel of the heat from the explosions on a warm summer day. Thanks for allowing us to see this and relieve the memories of Childhood.
Sad they don't do these shows anymore. It use to be one of there biggest attractions. Wonder why they stopped. I remember that too. Especially on a hot day in the summer.
I loved watching this when I went to Six Flags. Remember in 95 during the Batman forever hype they did a stunt show on the Oil Derrick at night with lasers and fireworks?
The stadium at Six Flags Great Adventure is still just sitting there I kinda would like for them to do the show again or a DCEU version the kids would love it I used to watch it everytime we went...

When I got out it was night and cool so I was feeling better. My dad took me to the stunt show. Saw this show up at Darien Lake back when it had the D.C. theme and the villain was the Joker. It was also an indoor show, so they could show the Bat Signal up on the wall! Great show!
I knew the Penguin was known for his multi-use umbrella which can also fire off weapons, and that was the reason for the first pyrotechnics in the stunt show going off as the Penguin's assistant fired shots from the umbrella. The assistant then throws a grenade bomb at the terrace balcony which of course leads to another pyrotechnic thing - a simulation of an explosion from the grenade that blew up the balcony.

I wish I could’ve seen this my grandpa I call him “Pa” loves Batman from the goofy show to the gothic serious one (except for the Patterson one he hates that one) when we use to go to Six Flags he’d tell me that massive dome use to be a Batman action show I was like DAMN and they did away with it wtf?! We barely go anymore cause Six Flags has changed it’s more of a fair than it was a theme park last time we were there saw 3 separate fights it’s heartbreaking cause I’ve been going since I was a little kid I’m 17 now and it’s just lost the magic it use to have people just run all over it I haven’t been in a while I miss it from time to time but idk it’s just not as good as it use to be

I know what a stunt show is - it is usually an open-air theatrical spectacular with a fair amount of or heavy use of smoke and/or fire effects, including pyrotechnics, and simulated stage fighting or combat - sometimes used on a heavy scale.
