Imo, the only frustrating thing with Tatum is that more often than not he would dissapear in Big moments. The only other perhaps unlikable reason is when he tried and failed to manufacture a moment. That Kobe text, that "we did it" copying and the mic drop copying was really really cringe. Otherwise, I'd agree he's rather overhated

The records that these new guys are breaking… Are meaningless because they modified the rules of the game so that these players could enter the discussion of greatness. That’s why the NBA has lost so much of its fandom. Because we are not fooled by what has occurred. these new guys can’t make the cut because they don’t play as hard and they don’t care about the game as much. All these empty stats that they’re accumulating don’t make them seem like better players.
Tatum is overreacted cause in play off his level goes down. That is the reason why Bronw won both Conference and Final MVP. Once Tatum proves that he can rise his level in play off, people will give him more respect!
