Best of attacker vs defender I've seen for a while. Sato's sense of where the table is just ridiculous. Not only on chops but lobs too. It took the world's best in CM to defeat her. Hats off.
shes garbage. So is the defensive playstyle. thats why she lost 0-3.

Sato is a very good player. Chen's incessant powerful attacks was so spectacular. Not many choppers can handle her.
Even though Chen Meng won, Sato did a pretty good job and I applaud her for keeping the art of chopping alive and well.
Hitomi Sato is simply brilliant.

Two of my favorite players! Sato may need to add more attack to her defense game and to increase her consistency a bit but she has IMHO the most beautiful and elegant classic defense among woman. Chen Meng remains a reference in attack, mixing subtly and power! Well done!

Love that every plays from China very apologetic when the point is in their favor while the ball bounces on the edge and the opponent can’t save it. They want the competition to be fair and square, no pun intended. They are very gracious. Love it!
Normally I hate watching choppers but that was very entertaining. They should have moved the camera because all you could see was Chen Meng smashing and the ball kept coming back.
I love how Sato mixes up her game. If only the attacking strokes go in.

Best female chopper now is Wu Yang and there has been much better ones before her.
good match. The flexibility and touch of Sato surprised me. There was a point (for 2-3 in game 2) that Chen laughed at knowing how incredulous some of her retrieves were. Chen's consistent attacks got her through but she was made to work very hard.

Sato 的削球水平真的挺高的了，不会打的或者体力耐心少点的，很容易就被打崩
但她最近的戰績不佳
从这场比赛来看，佐藤瞳在进攻上还是不足，完全没办法给陈梦造成压力，基本上都是只能被动等陈梦失误。当然，非要削球手和世界顶尖的选手相比有点要求太高。

if the offensive is world no1. sato can beat other attackers 9\10 times.
@Spicy Nyampire we all know that, chen meng was no1 for long time n still is one of the best..point is ...its not the chopping style thats losing.，the other player is just better...even mima ito loses to these women..and so we cant conclude that her style will lose to attackers 7/10 times
@Spicy Nyampire u can still be the european champ if u r a chopper, and thats a great deal..not outdated at all. every individual cant be the world champion, even xu xin isnt...but being a chopper is one of the coolest things.

Sato should have won if played with 38mm celluloid balls, 40+ mm plastic balls are too difficult 😞 for choppers.

佐藤瞳在进攻上还是不足，完全没办法给陈梦造成压力，基本上都是只能被动等陈梦失误。女子削球手还是要看武杨和徐孝元，特别是武杨，女子第一削不是白叫的。
