I have this set and as a standalone, it's great. My problem is using it as a midi instrument. EZDRUMMER 3, KONTAKT 7, it has issues where a tom will sound as a cymbal and vice versa. I use Cakewalk Sonar (the new one) and I created a drum map after a lot of work, but somehow it didn't get saved so I have to start from scratch. Ive had the kit about 4-5 years, have had to replace a high hat and a crash cymbal. They both stopped responding correctly.
I had the same issue with mine but i think it depends on the speaker/headphones you're using. When I'm using my headphones, i had to crank up the pad sensitivity and gain. When I plug the kit to my Headrush amp, it's hella loud😂

I can’t get the crossstick snare to sound good and loud enough

@@speedybagal really doesn't make a difference at my rig... x-stick is toggled on but it doesn't seem to recognise when I hit the rim
