As an elite controller owner, series 1 version, I can say that the controller helped me a lot. I started about over a year ago, and I couldn’t get used to claw so the paddles were a HUGE help. I don’t recommend to put an binding that will occasionally mess you up on the paddles like pick axe, build mode, edit, etc, because the paddles are VERY sensitive and it will mess you up. He also missed an important detail, on the back of the controller, there are little switches on the right side and left side, you’ll see it at 2:02 under the paddles, that makes it so the triggers only go half way to the bottom, and not all the way so that you can spam faster for each trigger. Also the series 1 controller was about almost 200 Canadian dollars, so I can’t imagine how expensive the series 2 controller is.
The second elite controllers paddles need a little more pressure to recognise input compared to the original elite. I always accidentally pressed the paddles on my friends elite 1 but when I bought the elite 2 it was much better
