I can definitely relate to link not liking feeling skin on skin when sleeping. I sleep with a pillow or blanket tucked between my legs so that legs don’t touch when I’m sleeping

I'm amazed that sleeping with music or with a fan isn't on here at all. I feel like both of those are so common where I live. I also have just a very particular way of sleeping that is probably too specific to be common

I never slept with a fan running until I got married. My husband needed one to sleep, and now, so do I! Both of our children run fans to sleep as well.

I think Rhett is more of the Indiana Jones generation. The Mummy just felt like a knockoff for those of us that grew up on Indy.

Rhett mentioned that watching TV to sleep is "bad". Which technically I can agree with. But its also healthy for me mentally. I can't fall asleep in a short timeframe because of the way my mind thinks. Often times my brain will constantly think and think and think when it is too quiet. I also get worried I will have bad dreams because of that. Sleeping with TV on keeps me relaxed and "thought" free. I make sure to have a sleep timer on so that it wont affect my deep sleep. I have always assumed I have semi-insomnia.

I have the same issue. Something that has helped me is taking 2 Natrol Melatonin gummies before bed, I have the 10mg ones.

I always get intrusive thoughts if I don't listen to talking while sleeping

I'm either watching GMM or ASMR before bed every night. It's so comforting, distracts me from my anxiety and helps me relax.

I never have issues falling asleep. I love sleep, it’s my favorite thing to do. I always feel so bad for people who don’t sleep good.
I also would think having a tv on would be like #1. My entire family, aside from me sleeps with a tv on.
Lucky, sometimes it takes me an hour+ to fall asleep, and then I often wake up again and the same thing happens
Well, feel bad for me because I have chronic insomnia. Sleep depravity is a serious health problem. It can lead to many other health issues. I'm glad you don't suffer like so many others do.

Yup, agreed. And thats also where the function to take breaks of the app works a lot for me, depending on how tired i feel i program half an hour or so and it stops the video by itself so i can sleep without worrying my phone played videos all night, lol

This episode unlocked a memory. When I was a teenager if I slept on my side or on my stomach with my head turned I needed to have a blanket covering my ear. Not my whole head or face, just the ear that wasn't touching the pillow. I genuinely have no idea why I started doing it or when & how I stopped.
