I knew she was Canadian but somehow when I clicked on the video, I still expected to hear her impressive English accent. She glows from the inside out and I love her acting. This movie and Belle are some of her best work.
She's still alive though...
Waat she's Canadian haha? Her Queen's English was so good!
She did make very sleight mistakes, but u wouldn't have noticed if you're not English.
even her in the movie "Belle" !
I want to find out what Irish people think of her Ulster accent in Alias Grace, now that it's coming out on Netflix (as a Canadian, I've been watching the episodes as they've come out via the CBC over the past few weeks, because they premiered to us Canadians, first). I think she's just delightful, and an amazing actress who, so far, has a knack for accents. She seems to blend seamlessly with actual English actors, in productions where everyone's using an English accent, but I do not have a good enough ear for Irish accents to know how well she did with Alias Grace. I really liked her in the role, the accent seems decent from what I've compared it to, but I can't judge for certain.
Can't believe she's not British!!
Found out she's Canadian after having watched the movie and was still expecting her British accent here!! Wonderful job!
Holy crap she nailed that accent!
She nailed the irish accent in alias grace as well, I was really impressed!
@@juliag.5114 Yep I was about to say the same thing. When I saw her in Enemy I thought that she was just another run of the mill actress -- and I was wrong. Her performance in Alias Grace blew me away. Sarah Gadon is a special actress with elite acting chops.
@@nickreynolds8391 Yes, she is very talented. I wish she would be in more stuff though, haven't seen her in anything since Alias Grace.
@@juliag.5114 I'm surprised she hasn't broke through at all on the mainstream big screen. I don't ever even remember her in a supporting role on a major film. She does almost exclusively television and indie work -- although that could be partially by choice. Looking at her IMDB page, she has been in 7 or 8 projects since Grace, although the only one I saw her in was in HBO's True Detective season 3, where she had a recurring (but somewhat minor) role.
How not to love this wonderful woman?
Funny, smart, talented, gorgeous.....she makes everything she's in so much better. Alias Grace was epic.
i love Sarah
This is a glamorous and classy young woman of which there are few in today's society.
Great actress played alias grace 10 out of 10

the fact of knowing how this story really happened make me believe in fairytales yet.
