A VERY nice, interactive and more casual than usual game. Bruna enchanted by Eldrazi Conscription is a huge flavor win. Also, big risk from Ryan when he decided not to counter Mike's Mindmoil, which is an extremely powerful card, but luck was on his side.
Love seeing another Garna deck, have one myself and she's such a fun, underrated commander. The fact that it's Harry playing her is a cherry on top as well since seeing his mairsil deck on the channel inspired me to make my own a few years ago.
When Ryan and Harry performed the Epic handshake from Rocket Power over the clever Mindbreak trap was the icing on the cake Again with the swords to plowshares 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Tony can’t catch a break 😭😂🤣. Epic match tho.
Muddstah I have been hunting for the sleeves you used on your islands on Ovar deck but still haven't found it, could you please point me in the right direction? About the game, my boy, those counters spells were flung a lot! I usually see blue players opting for the more expensive counters because they counter and do something else, but seeing the Bruna just going over it was a reminder that normal counters are still a very annoying thing to deal with. Kinda sad the Horde of Notions deck didn't really managed to get off even with the Maelstrom coming out, I have been thinking about building a elemental tribal with some of the same cards and this game gave me a few ideas. Also it's just me or everyone decided to not hit the Kynaios & Tiro player out of interest of drawing cards?
@@nadavmor103 My life goal is to build one ravnica commander for each guild. Flavor reasons. Jarad was an instant pick for the golgari. Just finishing niv mizzet. Only 3 guilds left
What is your 'rule 0' for this game? My playgroup keeps evolving and trying to one up each other, it seems so easy to make infinite table killing combos and all the power creep Wizards keeps printing has made our games less and less fun. It's basically turned into full on net-decking 10/10 Cedh with proxies because some of us had Mana Crypt and some didn't. I miss playing Magic.
Try asking your playgroup how they feel about a $60 deck challenge (adjust accordingly to your playgroup's budget but keep under $200 say?) and have everyone build a deck that falls within budget. I did this with my playgroup a few years ago after we ran into that same situation and we haven't looked back. I find the games still have combos and efficient ways of winning but everything is a lot more powered down and there's a lot more interaction - players also tend to pick "out of meta" cards for their decks as the budget is quite a restriction. It's fun to see stupid shit like Dead Man's Chest hit the battlefield.
Me and my friends basically only use the precons and cards we get from the bundles boxes. Occasionally purchasing commanders or the odd cards. We also trade cards a lot so that they’ll actually see use and help others make good decks.
You can activate it any time, but since it doesn't ignore speed restrictions, you'll still only be able to cast the elemental on your turn. (Unless you have Leyline of Anticipation or Vedalken Orrery)
The graveyard layouts in this game are infuriating. What the heck is Ryan doing up there? Mike is the only one doing it right Edit: Ryan fixed it, it was awful at 11:30
Liked to see the good amount of interaction thrown around this game
Hooray for interaction!

couldn't help but chuckle everytime harry and ryan did their thing, thats the kind of interaction I like in edh :D
Handtouching in the beforebeforetimes!

Ryan and Harry "hand shakes" were hilarious, poor Tony trying to swing Horde of Notions into Propaganda, he seemed a bit... Angery.
hangry
Ryan was the hero we needed this game.
Plant tokens? What are those? I only know about broccoli
5:38 I didn't miss that Rocket Power "woogity woogity woogity".
10:15 too!
Ryan kept countering everything 😂
Most annoying part of the game other than Harry being awful and not removing stuff from Ryans graveyard, which got himself killed.

Had to see that Bruna definitely a threat. Can’t wait to build mine
Awesome gameplay! I’m building a Horde of Notions deck right now so I’ll never pass up an opportunity to see it in action ;)
Love the music in this one!
Hahaha Harry, Tony and Ryan were in an all outward and Mike was like "Mmmmmm lands"

You can find the sleeves here:

Question what are later sleeves they have different art??
Harry's Garna deck is always fun to watch.
Yey Horde, i missed them dearly
First also excited to see horde played.
What's the card called on Harry's playmat?
Descendant's Path
Descendants' Path, really nifty green enchantment for tribal decks
Thanks y'all
I don't think that's card art, just something generic.
@@Jonkmanful no its definitely a card art
Ok Andrew. You won. Just admit you hate jarad lich lord, and there is a conspiracy to keep him hidden
I just rebuilt my old Jarad deck for the 10th+ time, would love to see some more Jarad on the channel.

The second I find someone who has one built in Ottawa, I will film it!

If you like to see spells resolving, this game ain’t for you.
Rewind resolved.
I have a control deck of my own, and this Bruna still looked mighty annoying to me.
couldn't mike have kept the cataclysmic gearhulk as the artifact?

The ability of horde of notions can't be activeted instant speed ?
It can
Why do you say that?
@@MTGMuddstah cause Tony activeted in his own turn

Garna and Horde of Notions :3

Sailor Bruna I think is 3-0 on your channel.
Don't mess with Bubbles, beware of the nice ones.
Carry me through class Muddstah. I need to not be bored
You should focus on class! School is important.
Always remember some of the biggest contributors to cards and fantasy were highly educated individuals. Make the good choices.
Its a test review so Im basically here for attendance lol
Lucky 7th
yay a game without tymna
tony should've won that game if he wasn't targeted by the whole table~
Yeah, Harry basically just played kingmaker for Ryan all game. Pretty disappointing.
Might have been a bit too much interaction. It felt like playing standard.
