Star Citizens Aopoa san tok yai is a alien medium fighter that certainly has some very impressive flight performance for a ship of its weight category. It is a very sleek looking ship and shares the similiar design features of its little brother the Khartu -al. Fast agile and with unique weapons its certainly fun to fly but at the time of recording it does have its issues. BUT what do you guys think about this new ship? As always let me know down below!!
With this I'm not sure why yu would fly the Khartu...it isn't much smaller and has a longer vertical profile. Seems like they should make the Khartu smaller by a bit and maybe make the San'tok a bit bigger but a bit more firepower to really make them different.
notes for this review: it still flys well with one engine gone, the DPS is top class (till its nerf), its only 7% less then a F8 with a full repeater build.
Neat trick, rip off all 4 of your wings on purpose, save the thrusters, and now you fly way better - up there with competitive light fighters. You also have a smaller profile.
In theory, it should be a light fighter hunter, and be able to hold it's own on other mediums. Wouldn't be bad to have as an escort, but you'll need a refueling ship or something with how short range it is.
Think what annoys me about it is the fuel tank is pitiful, so it needs a carrier or refueller to go too far but I feel it will be too big to fit in most ship carrying ships due to those wings
I melted mine because of the yound, the fog in the cockpit and the fact that there are more useful fighters for a lower price in the game. It has a nice skin though, for cash.... Even the Karhu Al is better with its 2 size 4 fixed guns...
Virago - Prince Xizor's ship. This is the closest likeness to that ship that I've seen in a game. Very alien and reminds me of one of the coolest antagonists from the Star Wars universe. Also, fun to fly but too easy to pick apart in PvP from what I've seen.
Greetings and Salutations, I think for the price on this one its a pass. I luv the bubble type cockpit and the fact it is great in atmosphere. But the Furry is amazing in the same things as well and a much better price point. I like the Fact you compared this to your Lightning, Most of us will be making the same type of choice and have our 1 main fighter. At 200+ dollars I see much better options
Hey hey kendall! Yeah it's a good ship dont get me wrong, something just doesn't feel right with this ship for me personally. I still can't quite put my finger on why despite the price point.
@@sigilofgremory9671 Was thinking of Scorp/Hurricane. Though I guess you can make the point that the single seaters like f8c and the Ares platform has 2 size 2.
I killed some dude in this the other day in a 1 man'ed scorp. He was a bounty and I didn't have a gunner that day. Yeah it's just a hanger queen. It's not very scary. I wouldn't show up to any serious pvp in this thing. If it cant out rotate a scorp and its that big that's sorta oof.

I never thought to use it for recon, but I can see that with its excellent visibility. Great review as always!

It's a cool ship.i personally don't think the alien ships are for me,but I like the fact that they're in the game.

I knew there was something bugging me about the ship, now I know it was its wings. Lol

Is it really a medium fighter though? In terms of specs it has the capacitors and shields of a heavy.

Try find pvp group it is not manuverable enough
It's plenty maneuverable enough for a medium fighter.
