Daitoshi (Dani Garcia seems like a great up and coming designer and Devir has been knocking it out of the park with their productions) 5. Windmill Valley (see previous comment but replace Devir with Board and Dice - just a little wary as this one is described as light and I tend towards heavier games) 6. Galactic Cruise (unique theme with awesome art and seems like pretty solid, heavy gameplay)

"I thought it was a Reiner Knizia game"). As for this year, I'm also excited for Dragon Eclipse. I backed it on Gamefound. Gnome Hollow has been on my radar since last summer. I met Ammon, the designer, at Gem State Gaming Con in Boise, ID. He's pretty fun to talk to and BS with. Other games I'm excited for include Wyrmspan, Cascadia Rolling, and Nocturne.

Galactic Cruise is up there for me. I'm also excited for World Order, follow up to Hegemony. And the campaign will hopefully be this year but Speakeasy from Vital Lacerda. Love the theme, the designer, and Ian O'Toole will knock it out of the park as usual. I have loved the first 2 entries in the South Tigris series, but after a few plays of Inventors, I would recommend caution with your excitement for it. It is more complex than the other entries, but I haven't felt rewarded by that increase. And while I love shared infrastructure in games, it just doesn't feel meaningful in the game.
Are you sure that Galactic Cruise and/or Inventors of the South Tigris will actually be released in 2024 ? For neither of them, their crowdfunding campaigns have even launched yet !
That's a fair point. They're both listed for this year at least as of now so we put them on the list but you never know! however, with regards to Inventors of the South Tigris, they usually run their campaign early in the year and deliver just before the holidays so I'd expect to see the same happen here as well :)
Me and my boyfriend got to play a game that will be Kickstarted in March, it was cool playing a game that only like 30 people have ever played in the world
ANd from Garphil we are not just getting Ezra and nehemia, shipwrights redux and inventors, we also have the new Shem game, storm raiders, Anarchy and Skara brae, so probably many more great game also to be excited, but not all can be Garphill games or Shem phillips, but man, thats my list of anticipated and excited games for 2024.
Well, my goal was to buy very few things this year so it helps that none of these sound interesting to me. I don’t play solo or heavy games. And I do not want to buy anymore multiplayer solitaire games unless I cull some. Maybe I’ll be safe, but part of me knows something will get my attention and money at some point!

Congrats on all of your success! I don't watch shorts...except for yours (because they're so well done). For 2024, I'm curious about Flatiron, the next game by the designers of two of my favorite games: The Red Cathedral and The White Castle. Don't know anything about the game expcept that it's about the Flatiron Building here in NYC.

I have loved the first 2 entries in the South Tigris series, but after a few plays of Inventors, I would recommend caution with your excitement for it. It is more complex than the other entries, but I haven't felt rewarded by that increase. And while I love shared infrastructure in games, it just doesn't feel meaningful in the game.
Fractured Sky, Mythwind, Tricktakers, Through the Dessert, and hopefully The Dark Quarter, though I am skeptical.

Are you sure that Galactic Cruise and/or Inventors of the South Tigris will actually be released in 2024 ? For neither of them, their crowdfunding campaigns have even launched yet !
That's a fair point. They're both listed for this year at least as of now so we put them on the list but you never know! however, with regards to Inventors of the South Tigris, they usually run their campaign early in the year and deliver just before the holidays so I'd expect to see the same happen here as well :)

ANd from Garphil we are not just getting Ezra and nehemia, shipwrights redux and inventors, we also have the new Shem game, storm raiders, Anarchy and Skara brae, so probably many more great game also to be excited, but not all can be Garphill games or Shem phillips, but man, thats my list of anticipated and excited games for 2024.

Well, my goal was to buy very few things this year so it helps that none of these sound interesting to me. I don’t play solo or heavy games. And I do not want to buy anymore multiplayer solitaire games unless I cull some. Maybe I’ll be safe, but part of me knows something will get my attention and money at some point!
