You are welcome. These are great tarps. I recently heard from a subscriber that you can find them on Amazon for approximately half price. He told me he found one for $45!!!
My son’s scout troop has started doing more backpacking vs. camping. We need a couple light weight tarps for a kitchen area and a group shelter. This looks like the right price and reasonably durable for a bunch of teenagers.
I would say these tarps are the perfect blend of durability and weight for that application. Paria makes this tarp in a variety of shapes and sizes, so you are sure to get the right tarp for the job.
Justin, I enjoy your channel and product reviews. I have the Paria Thermodown 15 down top quilt. Really solid quality. The comfort temp range for me is roughly down to the upper 20’s. I think 15 degrees is a bit generous. Of course it might be I’m just getting soft in my old age. 😂
They make good stuff! Glad to hear you like their quilt. Also glad to hear you enjoy the channel content! thank you very much for your support of the channel
Great video...purchased something similar for my upcoming ATV and truck camping. Getting away from my overland trailer and going much lighter. I actually strung my 10x12 over the back of the truck, and it worked fabulous. Thanks always for the fantastic videos...Im a few behind but will catch up soon! Peace!
Funny you posted this. My REI SL2 tarp has one minor issue after that Mullica trip so I started checking out others just two days ago. Some of the stitching on one of my center line loops broke. No big deal but a solid excuse to fix that part and buy another for science.
@ItsGoodintheWoods honestly was looking at cheapies on Amazon lol. Mostly because it's primarily used for the same reason. A common area. But....90 bucks isn't bad for one that can already be trusted really. I was thinking about another Warbonnet. But don't like the ridgeline for a common area tarp because it could possibly leak when used in a different configuration
Nice. I was looking into their tarps recently but went with a 7x9 Borah Gear silpoly tarp. It'd be fun to mess with their square tarp for different pitches. I picked up their bug bivy recently and worked it out. Pitched it on top of a park table though so not a proper test😁
I stepped into a new lightweight tarp this year. The Slingfin NFT tarp is amazing, and I would highly suggest it to anyone in the market for a good tarp. Silicone coated!
How do their guidelines show up under light at night? I've had some that are very reflective and others that say they have reflective properties to them that actually don't.
Hi im brand new and just bought this tarp for a camping trip, i want to use it to cover a picnic table. Do you prefer using the tensioners it comes with? Many videos I've been watching prefer using knot? Thanks, I also bought their tarp poles as well
The lines and micro line locks are awesome! Mine lasted for years. Just bought a new set of lines and locks myself because I lost one. Still have the old ones for back ups. These tarps are awesome. I am sure it will serve you well.
Thanks for the 5 year review. Has convinced me, that this tarp is exactly what I need for Motorcycle camping.

@@ItsGoodintheWoods will definitely have to check that out as shipping from the states to Australia would cost me $120 AUD!

I love and use those line locs they sell.
Me too! They are awesome!
Great feedback on the tarp. I almost bought one. I like all the extra tie-outs on it making it very versatile.
Right on! It would be a worthy purchase.....I am thinking about getting the 10 x 10 ....

I bet you were comfortable with the tarp over the truck bed! The coverage of a 10 x 12 is great.

Gear is good. Nothing like a good tarp.

Thank you! This tarp has been great to me. I hope to get a lot more use out of it. Thanks for stopping by man!
Hmmm. No fire… no 🍺 no 🐖
None of that....just a quick, to the point 5 year performance review
