  • AOH Exposes the League's False LeBron James Plus/Minus Claims
Watch this full game break down and try to wrap your head around LeBron's positive impact on the team when he's on the court.
    Chapters:
    00:00 Intro and context
    03:08 Q1
    12:52 Q1 retrospect
    16:46 Q2
24:31 Q1 review (this is missing due to some glitch, sorry)
    24:37 Q3
32:18 Q3 retrospect (mostly missing again for some reason)
    32:47 Q4
I am aware that the video got cut off at the end and there are some errors, but this video has been an absolute nightmare to get uploaded, I was blocked on 17 different versions by TH-cam and an attempt to put up a corrected number 19 got blocked as well, so you are stuck with version 18.
The last few years LeBron has been consistently registering double digit negatives in the plus minus column. Somehow that has changed this year despite him not playing better. Making matters worse, the reality TV show hosts, formerly known as sports analysts, claim that the Lakers are terrible without LeBron and only in the positives with LeBron (on court/off court numbers). How does the fact that the Lakers won their one game when LeBron didn't play factor into that?
Personally, I think the LeMedia was depending on the audience NOT to understand the plus/minus so they couldn't question this new "positive" statistic.
Anyway, I've analyed the footage from multiple games and shown that LeBron actually causes the Lakers to lose the leads they gain when he is on the court. The Miami game isn't as blatant as some of the examples I could have chosen, but it is the game that started it all. It's also the game when the Lakers complained to the league about the officiating. I have to cover the officiating in a separate video because it, in itself, is egregious.
If you want more like this the Rockets game breakdown is even more condemning.

Everyone should watch this. You can't ask for more proof than this. Lefraud is a blatant fraud, he is currently a below average starter player on the league getting praised for the most uninspiring poor play ever. The only reason he averages the most points ever in year 21 is because he plays much more minutes, has much more attempts and his team is willing to be bad in favor of Lebron stats.

I saw two laker games that were close games at the end of the 4th quarter ….. they let lebron bulldoze his way to the paint and get the foul calls ( he missed the layups)..and for some strange reason, not one of those professional basketball players couldn’t make a shot to put them up, it was like they were missing the shots on purpose….they were not driving the ball in, they were taking off balanced 20 footers with 2 seconds on the clock for their last 12 possessions of the fourth quarter… what got me thinking was that two of their stars sat out ( they played the game before) they had a 3rd superstar that acted like he couldn’t hit the side of a barn! I’m starting to believe Adam Silver made a call to their teams front office and told them to sit out two of their superstars so lebron can have a chance at winning without being blown out…. What do you know, the lakers won the game by one point, I haven’t watched a single NBA game since then!

It's easy to average what he's is averaging if you can shoot a low percentage plus play. No defense plus shoot 23-26 shots a game team still lose and you don't get called out for it on top of Turning in the ball over. Any past a prime superstar to average 26 points if they had that type of freedom

FYI: Last season after the LeTantrum at the end of the game vs the Celtics, after the Lakers complained to the league, starting with the very next game, the Lakers started averaging TRIPLE the number of free throw attempts per game. That's not speculation. That's not a guess. That's a FACT. I tracked it with a spreadsheet. They maintained that average for the final 32 games of the season. Without it, there's a good chance they don't even make the play-in.
*EDIT:* It was brought to my attention that I misspoke in this post. Instead of saying "TRIPLE the number of free throw attempts per game," I should have said, "TRIPLE the number of ftas per game MORE than their opponents." That is to say that on average the Lakers were getting 3.32 MORE ftas per game than their opponents in the first 50 games of the season and in the last 32 games they were getting an average of 10.25 MORE ftas per game than their opponents.
An example would be: against the Pacers on Feb 2, 2023 where the Pacers got 6 ftas the Lakers got 31. That's a difference of 25 ftas. Taking the remaining 32 games into account, on average, that differential was 10.25 which is more than triple the 3.32 they were getting in the first 50 games.

He got annoyed when reporters were asking him about chemistry and effort. I mean are they really out of line to ask this question? He's showing lack of effort in every game he plays.

7:05 zero footwork and skill. I’ve always said his game is only predicated on his athleticism and strength. No one ever believed me and would argue against it by saying he gets more rebounds and assists compared to the players whom I considered the best at the time. The truth is definitely being more exposed now. Driving and chucking it out last minute because you got doubled in the paint and have no jumpshot isn’t acquiring your assists through skill.
You are considered one of the most athletically gifted player of all time. You better average more rebounds than Kobe and thats only by 2 LMAO.

And getting bailed out by the refs. I remember a playoff game against the Pistons where he scored like 25 consecutive points. That only happened because the refs would basically call of foul if anyone tried to play defense as he drove the the hoop or at the rim. It was infuriating. Most of the time when Rasheed Wallace melted down and got ejected I thought it was embarrassing. That game I was with him and was surprised more Pistons didn't get tossed.

Lebron James should get an extra chapter in the classic book "How to Lie with Statistics"! The problem is, that Lebron fanboys don't watch the actual games, they only look at the boxscores and highlights on tiktok. One member of the Lebron cult replied to a comment about his terrible defense: "then how come that LBJ is Top20 in defensive win shares and 2nd on the Lakers". Good question! But anyone who understands basic basketball knows that these numbers are BS? Lebron is not a better defender than Giannis, Caruso, Derrick White or Cam Reddish. If the All-defensive teams were selected only by advanced stats, Lebron would have a chance to make it on the second team this season. That would be funny! You know who is Nr. 1 in DWS and Defensive Box +/-? Karl-Anthony Towns and Nikola Jokic. Two defensive beasts, as everybody knows ...

that game was ridiculous with him crying instead of defending. but lets be real. lebron is getting old
it's not his job to guard the paint and he can't take the bumps
lebron james number one go to was driving to the paint with his hip out. if you try and block that you're getting hurt.
he can't do that anymore. he has resorted to trying to get fouls. lakers are the biggest market team and he's a big market himself.
i'm no fanboy. jordan the goat. he's an old man now in basketball and he can't do what he used to.
no goat though. but still he deserves his credit. the refs shouldn't be fixing games though.
if lebron won 4 chips in miami we could talk about goat. he didn't though. best team by far. 3 team leaders joining up. jordan did it with scottie.
scottie went to houston and played with barkley and hakeem the dream and got swept
he went to portland and played with damon and rasheed wallace and almost got it done. but didn't. they even had sabonis dad who was considered really good at the center.
jordan never flopped. in his era they used to beat the crap out of each other and they didn't flop and lay on the floor like they were dying.
      two three peats.
jordan would never ever ever skip defense to complain. he wouldn't slap himself in the face like lebron did vs raptors. i can't even find the video anymore. at half court there were players gathered up near halfcourt and lebron slapped himself in the face and someone from the raptors got ejected. pretty sure they removed to protect his legacy

Then Steph Curry owned him and he was gifted a chip by Draymond getting suspended and Kyrie going bananas. And then Rondo saved him in the bubble. real defense wins games but they pretty much can't play it anymore. even if you get your feet set and take a charge you get the foul instead.

Ah yes...the trusted internet service. The storehouse of all of the worlds true and unimpeachable information. 😂.
I meant, like how can a player be a +90 or whatever in a game where there was never a 90 point differential? I'd love to see a detailed breakdown on how some of those +/- numbers were reached. Having been forced to study descriptive statistics in pursuit of the more useless of my two degrees, I find these descriptive analytics interesting and would love to understand the formulas they use. It cannot be purely a point differential, or +90 or +80 wouldn't be possible given the score of the game we were watching. What part of the equation am I missing?

    • @williamalexander9485
      @williamalexander9485 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

You’re trying too hard. It’s a counting stat per game, when LeBron is on the floor and when he’s off. But I’m sure you’d prefer the word of a white man with a nappy afro🤣he’s a legit source of credible information.

    • @--ArcAngel--
      @--ArcAngel-- 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Trying to filter out the actual information you are giving from the rudeness (not sure where that is coming from... I'm asking a legitimate question and trying to understand your point with good intentions)... so please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've gathered, the +/- the announcers are mentioning when they say things like +80, that is a cumulative number? I believe they said something like "so far this season, the Lakers are +80 with LeBron on the court" (im paraphrasing, but that's the essence of it). Is that right? They are adding up Lebrons +/- of all the games played so far this season? If so, I get it now.

After Dirk, I was done with basketball for a while and completely lost the interest, because I thought a guy who tattoos himself "chosen" on the back desperately needs a psychiatrist, not a coach. I guess Mama told him one time too often how great he is. Does he still take her to the games? Good boy! The whole GOAT thing kind of crawled in through the backdoor, and so I took a look again. I can't thank you enough for taking care of this fraud. I got addicted to basketball in the 80s. I've seen Larry (my GOAT) do his thing, and after that I've seen MJ do the same. I didn't see all games, but a lot of them. That LeBron considers himself in the discussion is a joke. He's not even close. Never has been. All that athleticism and longevity ain't worth sh*t when you lack the skill.

How are they not embarrassed playing this type of ball with a guy who considers himself above everyone else. In today's NBA the first step is the gather step then they're allowed to take two additional steps.. Since Lebron really wasn't gifted as a shooter and needed their poster boy to score they turned a blind eye to this and then pretty much made it legal. It's sad watching all these players dribble barely past the three point line and then they're by the rim laying up. I've seen Lebron in the playoffs dribble beyond the arc and lay up. The NBA has cheapened this game so much for this cry baby.
Another move I've seen these players do like Doncic is they do all these steps, but on the 3rd step it's a hot step where both feet are in the air and the feet land at the same time and instead of shooting or passing out they just stop and proceed to take another long step towards the basket. The NBA is just insulting our intelligence for the sake of offensive stats.

I never knew he had the most turnovers in NBA history by over 500 turnovers because NOBODY ever talks about it, and it isn't due to his longevity, Kareem played 1.5k more minutes in his career and he is in 57th place in turnovers (granted they didn't start counting turnovers for around 7 or so seasons into his career but there's no way he was even CLOSE to Lebron's), Dirk who is in 4th place for most minutes played is in 62nd place for turnovers, KG is 5th place in most minutes and he's in 25th place for turnovers, Reggie Miller is in 11th place for most minutes and is in 75th place for turnovers, what's Lebron's excuse?
