Gabe, you have inspired me to get out in the outdoors more with my son. I feel that traditions are going to the way side and we are disconnected from our roots. Kids nowadays are glued to their phones instead of how I grew up spending all day in river or hunting all day at 10 years old.

Great video... can we all just take a moment though to respect nature... small creek now but if you look at the tree that he caught the first bass under there's debris all the way up that tree from where it was in the water during Ian... the massive amount of water that went thru there mind numbing.

My Daddy used to take me fishing in the summer when the ditches are I’d catch big garfish & bowfins what great memories! But I’m always praying 🙏 about those Gators! My Mama liked gator hunting above anything else. Her & Daddy would go get the gators and Daddy would skin them & of course Daddy would always let me help him😁👍But way back then, Gators was scared of people & we never seen the Big Beast that’s everywhere now! They are fearless, stealthy, powerful & Dangerous!!! Those Devil plants BlueWookie was scared of are Thistles & they have the prettiest purple flowers that make a zillion seeds that blow in the wind , scatter & come up everywhere they’re terrible! They are a cousin to the Artichoke plant that has a big purple flower too. Jake you should have saved me a Turkey egg roll! Glad you all came home safe Thank The Lord 💪🙏♥️

Love you beeing out educating the boys about nature. One tiny question. You allways seem to release the bass and for me the bass is the best freshwater fish to eat. Take away the head and ungut the fish. Fill it with onions, herbs and salt and let rest in fridge for a few hours and finally smoke for some 20 minutes. Eat on hard bread (I prefer Wasa sport, you might find it in IKEA). Enjoy. 😀🐐☃️🐥⭐👍
Great video Gabe again well done to Jake and Luke (my son is called Jake) and those 'Devil plants' here in the U.K are called thistles and boy do they hurt when you step on them and get a thistle (spike/thorn) in your foot/hand or anywhere, maybe they should rename them to Devil plant! much love to you all ❤

The thorny weeds you were avoiding are called Russian Thistles. I really enjoyed watching the kids shoot their turkeys and catch their fish. Your doing great getting your kids in the outdoors and teaching them the joy of hunting and fishing. Seem like most people today don't see the pride of accomplishment of success and even if you bring home an empty sack the life time memories of family, friends and the things they get to see that God put on this earth just for them to see.
That was an amazing video I love all the fishing and I love the turkey hunt that was so cool good job for those boys and also the turkey egg rolls that is so unique I never thought about doing that with my turkey
