You are honestly one of my favourite people to watch! Not only do I love that you're waving the flag for us pale girls but you're also such a lovely person that I could listen to for ages! Good on you girl! x
Wow everything about this look screams 60s yet it's still subtle enough to pull off nowadays! The mod look really suits you too! 😘 Will have to give this one a go xx
Love the artistic details you use in this series. My personal favorite decade was the twenties. You are so talented. Purchased both the NARS Chantilly Soft Matte and the Born this Way fairest concealers. Especially love the Chantilly! Best match I've ever had for my skin. Thank you!
Gorgeous! This is my favourite look in this series so far! I think the hair and that top really set the look! Looking forward to the 70's! Xo I hope your having a great weekend
+Kimberly Howell I always try to do my hair & outfit to match 😁😁 glad you loved it!! I wear my hair like this in real life haha and this top is a fav of mine from my current Capsule! I'm still not sure which 70's style to do - need more research haha
Arna Alayne well you definitely pull that look off well! Oh! you should do disco 70's! With one of those bright thick headbands, big colourful earring and lashes so big you could fly away! Haha that's just the first thing that comes to mind when I think 70s. Such a stereo type I know! 😂
Definitely a great look that I love soooooo much, and you absolutely made it very wearable and appropriately transitional into contemporary times! As always, you look stunning 😍😍
Great look Arna. I was actually born in the 60's (yes I am that old!) but I can't wait for your 80's look - that one will take me right back to my teenage years.
I love mod makeup. Sometimes I do a look like this but with a bold color on the "crease" for something a bit different. I like lavender or terracotta. :)
LOVE this look! 😊 I love the 60s and this look is exactly what I think of when I think 60s! You do such a good job on these videos (all your videos really haha)! So happy you are doing this series! 😊💜
You captured the look of the 60s very well and brought back happy memories for me. I remember sneaking away with my older sister to buy white lipstick and black eyeliner at the drugstore. Haha! I particularly remember a cosmetics line called Mia. The packaging was white with hot pink polka dots. Good times! :-)
For a small brush mascara for bottom lashes, try IT Cosmetics Tightline Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer. It's super tiny like the one end you used in the video.
+Im-vanille Thank you so much!! Sadly, I've never been able to wear NARS Foundations because the shade Siberia which is pale enough for me is much too yellow 😪 I love the two concealers in chantilly though x
My mom was a teenager in the 60s and the girls in her yearbooks all had a That Girl Marlo Thomas flip and very natural make up .The graphic look was very adult I think. They did wear false lashes and very pale lipstick. I liked it much better than the looks in the 80s I grew up with. LOL Oh I don't know, some of them were great too!
Just spend 10 hours outside helping build a fence, this is a great break! Lovely video, would be fun to see the look you didn't go with, if there was any video/photos of it :)
I am just as pale as you and I love to watch your videos. Nobody else on TH-cam seems to cater for that apart from you and your videos are always so easy to follow. Thanks Arna. From Sarah 😊
It's a really pretty look, I HAVE to buy that lipstick! I've been on the hunt for a(n affordable) really pale lipstick for so long, but I think I might give up and buy Mac. Do you happen to have a picture of the "non wearable" look you did before? Just curious.
I hate those nights with lots of dreams, it'd be so much easier to be able to disable dreams now and then. Also I picked up a sample of Mac studio fix in NC10 and the color looks really good! Question: do you have an alternative that's the same color as the Chi Chi eye brightener?
This was such a nice video to watch after work; when you mentioned the urban decay foundation I was like huh that's weird I tried it the other day and it was a bit dark and then a minute later you were like it's a bit dark but I can make it work 😂 twins
Gorgeous please do a video for pre 1920?? Even make up dating back through the ages like say 1700/1800- 1920? Itd be different! As a lot of people do make up for 1920-2017 videos, not trying to hate! I love your videos
Arna Alayne ohh that would be cool! Love the series nonetheless! Love how you embrace your pale skin! I used to hate my pale skin! Your videos are so helpful to me for finding products and looks to suit my skin tone!
You always said from the beginning that these would be more modern wearable look's not full on recreations. Very few people could pull off a full Mod look, I mean 1960's were the years of the white lipsticks. Everyone looked like panda bears in the 60's. And if you really need a good white liner my favorite is the NYX shadow pencil in Milk I use it in my waterline all the time and it lasts almost all day on me and my eyes water like mad.
+Tammy St. Jean True!! I just like to reiterate for the newbies just joining in haha but yes, it was very extreme!!! Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely pick that up from Priceline next time I'm in :)
when are you doing 1970s please? i'm a new subscriber and very much enjoying your videos as a fellow pale skin girl :) you have beautiful skin btw. much love from the UK
First of all, I don't think I've ever seen such an accurate-looking wearable 60's tutorial, seriously how do you do it? Lol and secondly, I've now got my boyfriend hooked on your videos as well 😂 we're both interested in trying the Keto diet as inspired by your videos. We're doing some research into it and wondering how long people typically remain on it. How long do you personally think you'll stay on keto, if you don't mind my asking? xx
+BrookeInProgress Haha thank you so much!! Well, it took two attempts to get this look so I guess that's the secret! So cool you & your partner want to try Keto!! I'm probably going to stay on it until Summer, then I will eat a more "general" healthy diet that is still low-mod carbs so I can enjoy summer fruits and things :) but I have to judge how it affects my mood & body because Keto works so well for me mentally and physically!
60's, my fave! I love that it's quite dramatic but still wearable.
+Hayley Yes!! That's exactly what I was going for :) a real statement but still wearable!! Thank you cx
You are honestly one of my favourite people to watch! Not only do I love that you're waving the flag for us pale girls but you're also such a lovely person that I could listen to for ages! Good on you girl! x
+Jessica xxx Awww you're too kind!! Thank you beauty xx
Love it Arna, the 1960s look really compliments your facial features
Thank you!! yes, I actually often wear this makeup style, but perhaps with a little wing to the liner!
Wow everything about this look screams 60s yet it's still subtle enough to pull off nowadays! The mod look really suits you too! 😘 Will have to give this one a go xx
+standintheway92 Thank you!! Xx
We (pale community) need you to do a video testing Fenty Beauty foundation. Fair shades are looking promising ❤️
+Martyna Skiba Don't worry girl, I got you!! Shade 100 of the foundation, & the Metal Moon Highlighter on their way to my house!!!
Martyna Skiba they don't half oxidise quickly.
And Bare Minerals new Bare Pro Liquid Foundation in Fair 01 please ❤️❤️
Martyna Skiba I tried the fairest neutral shade, its great but the foundation doesn't sit well on my combination textured skin :(
Haha also on it's way to me!! soooooooo many foundation reviews & videos coming your way in the next few weeks! xx
Glad you filmed a wearable version but would love to see a snippet of the full costume look!
+Rachel Grubbs Haha thank you!
Reeealy loving the series!! Thank you 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
+Ruth M My pleasure!! It's fun :)
I instantly thought of Twiggy. You did a great job.
+soft starlight PERFECT!! Thank you! Feedback is super appreciated x

Great look Arna. I was actually born in the 60's (yes I am that old!) but I can't wait for your 80's look - that one will take me right back to my teenage years.
+Christine Thompson Haha brilliant!! ❤️❤️
This look is stunning!
+Kelly Caldwell Thank you gorgeous!
We wore white frosted lipstick or frosty pale pink. You look beautiful.
I love mod makeup. Sometimes I do a look like this but with a bold color on the "crease" for something a bit different. I like lavender or terracotta. :)
+Erinn Hill nice!! Xx
This is just stunning. It's so wearable. I love this look!! 💜💜
+casmelinda229 Thank you!! Xx

+Katelyn Coogan Thank you so much!! Xx
I love this look, love 60's! Amazing idea for makeup series ❤
+Min Seo Yeon Thank you so much ❤️
Beautiful! Reminds me of like an Edie Sedgwick type of look 😄 But still super wearable. I'll have to try it sometime!
+palegirlchic Thanks!! Xx

+Joan Gieseke Amazing!!! Haha thank you for sharing! Xx

Such a great look! Would love to know what you think about the new maybelline tattoo brow!
+Anna Brigid ah yes I still need to give that a go but I'm scared haha
Ataahua! Loving this series, Arna! Very subtle but inspired look 😍 I also loved your last video btw... thank you for sharing! X
Thanks you love xx
Great video as always! I was wondering what are your thoughts on Nars foundations and shade range. Your channel has become one of my favorites lately!
+Im-vanille Thank you so much!! Sadly, I've never been able to wear NARS Foundations because the shade Siberia which is pale enough for me is much too yellow 😪 I love the two concealers in chantilly though x

+LEHNNA TV Haha you the real MVP!!! Xx
Just spend 10 hours outside helping build a fence, this is a great break! Lovely video, would be fun to see the look you didn't go with, if there was any video/photos of it :)
+Kristy Fletcher ❤️❤️
When are you doing the pale warm toned foundation
+Claire Castledine a while away! xx
I am just as pale as you and I love to watch your videos. Nobody else on TH-cam seems to cater for that apart from you and your videos are always so easy to follow. Thanks Arna. From Sarah 😊
+The Makeup Place Thanks so much, Sarah!!! Glad you enjoy my content 😘😘😘
I ❤️ Arna too bu definitely check out thataylaa for more pale skin love
Rachel Grubbs Arna & Taylor are both awesome for pale ppl like us. And when they agree on a product, I buy it. Love them both.
Yes I love Thataylaa so much!! Just FYI she is about 1/2 - 1 shade darker than me xx
It's a really pretty look, I HAVE to buy that lipstick! I've been on the hunt for a(n affordable) really pale lipstick for so long, but I think I might give up and buy Mac. Do you happen to have a picture of the "non wearable" look you did before? Just curious.
+Evil Side No, I gave up before I'd put on my mascara haha I was just like "this ain't working!!"
I hate those nights with lots of dreams, it'd be so much easier to be able to disable dreams now and then. Also I picked up a sample of Mac studio fix in NC10 and the color looks really good!
Question: do you have an alternative that's the same color as the Chi Chi eye brightener?
+Lauren W Oh that's great! Sadly I don't 😪 that's why I always use it haha
Oh well, thanks anyway!
This was such a nice video to watch after work; when you mentioned the urban decay foundation I was like huh that's weird I tried it the other day and it was a bit dark and then a minute later you were like it's a bit dark but I can make it work 😂 twins
+Megan Roberts Haha legit tone twins ❤️❤️❤️
Ok, you are totally giving me 1960's Barbra Streisand vibes...see "On A Clear Day...", quite uncanny, and I LOVE IT!
+Natalie Valentina haha thanks Hun x

Perhaps once I've finished the series, I can do a Victorian Makeup Tutorial xx
Arna Alayne ohh that would be cool! Love the series nonetheless! Love how you embrace your pale skin! I used to hate my pale skin! Your videos are so helpful to me for finding products and looks to suit my skin tone!
Victorians didn't wear makeup, only prostitutes and actresses wore it. It was a big no no to wear makeup.
+Luna Sterling haha well I guess that solves that then 😂😂
My mam & dad were mods 👌🏻💜
+Charlotte Watson Niiiiiiice
This one is probably my favorite, I just attempted it, I like it but it definitely doesn't look as good as yours
+Alexandria Pearson Thank you!! Practice practice practice haha xx

+Chantilly Rae I usually do a video in this series once a month or so, so 1970's will be in a couple of weeks!! Thank you for subscribing 💕💕
