I've been in there, Brooks Collectables store. I bought a scale model Austin Cambridge A60 from there in mid 2009 when I went to Blackpool with a few local based friends.
Absolutely wonderful video Jane certainly brought back some memories seeing some of those old toys and models. What a wonderful museum and shop, I will certainly pay a visit if I get to Blackpool next year. Thank you😉👍
I had a double Silver Cross pram which I loved and treasured with all my heart. I can still remember the excitement and the Christmas Day when I got it. I was ever so old when it eventually went!
I had a Tiny Tears doll, she 'went to toilet' from the joint of her leg lol. That puppet show thing......they used to have one in Porthcawl, South Wales when I was a small child, and it scared me to death. I found it very creepy!!

Lots of memories came flooding back from my childhood. What a great video Jane, been to Blackpool many times and never realized such an interesting place was just along the promenade!!! Next time we are there a visit is a must. Keep making these fascinating videos and letting the nation know just how great Blackpool and Fylde Coast are.
Lovely look around Jane. I'd forgotten about Brooks being there. You keep mentioning Sindy and Barbie and I was a Sindy girl too in the 60s. I also remember Tressy ( her hair grows). Wish I still had my Pelham puppets though. I had the Hansel and Gretel that you pictured within the slot machine. Happy Days! 🤗🧸🪅
I do remember girls world Jane. I bought my daughter one ( any excuse to play with it too!) I'm guessing that you sort both teaboys hair these days then! 🤪
Oh my!! I had a big grin on my face the moment you said were you where!! I looooove Brooks collectables!! My son and I always go in here whenever we visit Blackpool!! Which over the years has been many times. The last McDonald’s you went to is essentially next door!! That’s how we found it.😂. We actually found it through the front access of “the Joke/Rock” shop, not the side entrance front door. Over the last few years we have bought a Chucky, rare toy dinky cars, figures, between 5-10 action men, Star Wars figures, you name it!! Cost me a few quid but I don’t think they will drop in value so it’s potentially a little investment. Plus they still bring us much pleasure. Hopefully a few collectables in years to come.👌. This really was a trip down memory lane for me. I can’t wait to show my boy. Every time we have been we’ve had “the upstairs museum” all to ourselves. A bearded gentlemen whose name escapes me has always been working here, not this elder man with the cap and glasses. I really appreciate the eclectic variety of your videos Jane. There really is something for everybody. Lovely to see a subscriber say “hello” too. Keep ‘em coming.x

It's a bit embarrassing when people recognise you - I go all tongue tied and shy! I'm starting to hold my nerve better though - and I love to meet viewers once I get my power of speech back!

I'm currently sorting an old full tin plate original hornby train set, including track changers, signal boxes and, cull set of hornby class one locomotives and other trains modern and old, and n guage tracks that belonged to my late father. I cant part with them till they are in the hands of a real collector.
