On me the G’s went really warm after a while and I looked like I was wearing a tanning product. The N shades jumped too much. Did you end up with buying Baklava?
There is a shade in between the two shades that you mentioned.. they have baklava 340G.. its golden and neutral undertone.. You could give that shade a try since you mentioned you have a golden yet neutral undertone.

Their line has a 330N shade called Butter Pecan, I believe? It’s darker than Tres Leche and has a neutral undertone in the medium shade range. Perhaps you could give that a try.
I know this is realllll late...but I got the shade baklava for my tanned shade, I have similar issues to you, in that I'm warm but not WARM and run a little olive/bronze as opposed to yellow and it's perfect. A kind of neutral/warm, may be worth a try xx
So Tres Leche and Dulce de Leche are Hispanic desserts! The pronunciation is a bit off, but we are exposed to Spanish a bit more in the US than the UK I'm sure! Great review though :) I actually found Brown Sugar and Toffee, while labeled as golden, looked ashy, brownish-green and overall muddy on my skin. I am guessing they were just golden enough on me? Not sure...

Thanks Anchal. I bought brown sugar, in selfridges it was looking nice on me and when I applied it on my face before work it looked fine but it goes darker and darker so it's a shade darker than me! Well bit too brown I would say? So now I need to go in and get a lighter shade 🤦🏽♀️
That’s me with every foundation! I have yet to find a foundation that is the correct shade for me from any brand. I can use anywhere from a light-medium neutral undertone to a tan/almond warm undertone and anywhere in between since there are like 5 million shades of skin on my face not to mention the dramatic differences between my winter and summer shades😂😂😂 mixed racial makeup problems😂
I couldnt find my shade either....the foundation just looked too yellow on me...annoying! Im so glad anchal said it as well coz i think we're pretty similar skin tone
Baklava seems to work for mac nc35-42, I have ordered it and I am nc35..literally buying/mixing the other shades one by one until I get the right one cannot deal with the pinky/orange look mac nc35 is giving me. Thanks Anchal
That sucks for the shade range especially for us medium-tan skintones.. This is my fear when I go into stores to get matched.. thanks for the warning about oxidation!
There are two other shades that are in the middle of the two that Anchal used. I'm sure one of those would be a better match for her. There are many med-tan shades.
NC42 here and I have the same dilemma whether to get 350G or 320G! I have the exact same issues as you mentioned in the video about it being too golden/yellow and then oxidization makes things worse! Argh! However, the video was very informative so thank you for that!
try 330 shade as our skin color is same and 330 is perfect for my skin.... I hope it helps u finding ur shade too... tc and your videos are really helpful for beginners like me... cheers

It seems like she’s missed a chunk of shades there and I heard the colour chart was really off too :/ idk I’m not very compelled to buy this....fenty interested me a lot more, although the finish of this is STUNNING on you! Also not Huda foundation related, but please could you do a behind the scenes/set up video or on your snapchat, your set up is stunning! God that struggle of being brown and having neutral undertone is so real!! Not a lot of foundations cater for the brown people and I’ve noticed that all foundations go orange on me because of the golden undertone! Love that I’ve finally found a TH-camr who has the same struggles that I go through 💙

I have the same foundation problem! I am medium skin tone not tan and not light! I am a light medium skin with neutral undertone and I am still searching for the perfect foundation. I purchased tres leches color from Huda beauty and it’s so orange on me. I know Rihanna’s Fenty range is lit right now, I might give it a shot because I know she caters to mixed race skin tone and indian-Pakistani neutral undertone skin tones!!! I do like huda beauty though I don’t know if I am biased, but I do like how her foundation is SOOOO full coverage.
I just stick with Lancome Teint Idole and Make Up Forever HD. The same goes for eyeshadows and highlights. Not getting anything new release for now and next year.I will just enjoy what I have. I mean how much makeup does a soccer mom need right? BTW, you look beautiful in this video.

However I do agree there is a large gap in the range, I too could not mind my shade, tan with a cool undertone. Seems all her foundations are all yellow/golden leaning, especially the darker shades.
u r beautiful i think she cheaps out on the packaging so she can invest money more in the formula. if she made the bottle beautiful then she would have to put less product and the formula wouldnt be as good so many companies work so hard on packaging and the product itself is horrible. i lovee the primer i used it with my too faced born this way and my foundation and skin never looked so good. try the primer with another foundation and u will be wowed. im a bit iffy on the brush

I’ve seen Butter Pecan and Dulce de Leche as my “closest” shade but I’m afraid the neutral one can get my face look ashy and off as regular neutral foundations do and I’m afraid Dulce de leche can oxidize too tan for me ☹️😂

Tres leches is 320G and Dulce is 350G...there is a shade between the two Baklava that is 340G (or 330, I forget), you should try that one. According to your foundation video, you and I are foundation matches in other brands.

Also, like another sub below mentioned, the name of the foundations you purchased are actually Spanish desserts. 'Tres' in Spanish is pronounced differently than it is in French ... you actually sound the 's'; so rather than 'Trey' (French), it is 'Trrezss' (Spanish). 'Leche' is pronounced 'lech-che'. Now you're all set! :) Thanks again for the candid review!

Why didn’t you try butter pecan, it was the shade between the ones u tried but neutral.

Tres Leche is a better match for you. You may think it's too light, but after oxidizing it looks perfect on you.

Butter pecan is quite light for a Nc42 skin. Hopefully new shades will be launched soon.
