It would be cool if the surroundig evolves a bit,, now its the same camp over and over again, same patterns borring stuff.... they should ad more activity like guards playin a game or telling stories.. when someone dies a just a funny line like wtf did he go or something... a little smarter Ai would be nice that knows who you are and are getting scared the higher level you get (Maybe some kinda fame system) with maybe even better guards or standard mercenary at the camp... each fort need to be something diffrent and a variation of diffrent camps

sometimes they can hear you through anything and sometimes the air assassination doesnt work the way it shuld, but i stil dont use it anyway, it can be finicky too lol, i just use arrows. i wish there were more ways to kills stealthily with arrows,
me too! I like the warrior / hunter build i have created. thin out the herd with hunter abilities and then dispatch the remaining people. it's a lot of fun. though sometimes it can get a bit hairy when you have like 6-8 people on you because gun slinging sounded like a good idea XD

combat in odyssey is a pain in the a**. They shoulda made it at least a little easier to kill people or make it a 100% kill for every assassination except for other mercenaries.

The fire is probably invisible until the arrow is shot, it’s just lit to let you, the player know what type of arrow you have equipped. Same with when enemies are shooting different sort of arrows at you

Just because the Assassins don't exist how we know them doesn't mean this game has nothing to do with them. People need to stop crying over the "lack of assassins" and realize franchise has moved on from their nostalgia wet dream.
@@RealNamek13 there are cultists in the game with strong armor and big shields. They have cool forts in the mountains. And one had 21 cultist guards, three captains and one cultistleader. It was on one of the islands.

Bro, I have a question, actually I am kinda new for this Assassin's Creed games and I don't know which one to buy but my friends adviced me to buy Odyssey / BlackFlag / Origins , I actually want the game with amazing graphics not poor / dull so is it the right game to buy (AC Odyssey)? And yet, somehow people complained you couldn't do stealth in this game just because the assassinations werent guaranteed insta kills from the beginning of the game. Literally all it took to make stealth viable was speccing into the stealth tree and wearing some gear that boosted assassin damage. Stealth is SO powerful in this game. Its just not effortlessly powerful from the beginning of the game like previous AC titles. It required some skill investment. I think people who played this game and complained about stealth just have never played an RPG or dont understand them. With semi decent stealth build you can one shot regular guards and use critical assassinations on the brutes and captains, and then use a critical plus a hero strike on any of the tougher captains or mercs. Really not hard to play stealthily in this game.
Is there a way to stealth assassinate cultists (or yellow targets for that matter) in one stab? Like in Origins, you couldnt stealth kill a higher level than you, but I remember grinding to level 15 so I could kill the Scarab the AC way, assassination from above, but in this game even if im at the same level the enemy is, I just cant kill them that way and it pisses me off. I don't want things "easy", I dont mind sweating my hands off fighting a higher level than me, but if im at the same level then I should be able to stealth assassinate them, it just breaks out of my immersion in regards of playing the Assassin way :/ please tell me I just need to work towards a build or keep upgrading my blade, I already upgraded the ability that gives more assassination and knockout damage at max. I dont like the idea of having to kill all these cultists in melee combat rather than stealth assassinate them in order to have my blade upgraded because I want my blade to be able to stealth assassinate those dudes... you know? Roleplay wise id like to kill main targets with stealth, I dont care the grind, as long as there is a way u.u
I've seen somewhere that AC Ragnarok will have a gameplay similar to this, if not totally the same. Point is, the gameplay won't stick to how AC used to be.

@@christianboi2142 Spear basically lets you insta-kill four people. Invis only comes in handy as a utility in certain occasions. Invis *is* really good tho.
I think we need to tone down the combat and focus more on stealth in the next ac, but with the current engine, I don’t think that’s gonna happen. Just look at great stealth games like hitman and splinter cells, if we combine that with ac parkour it would be so sick
The next AC game will probably be made for next gen consoles as its releasing in 2020. It will probably have a new engine too. I would love it if the parkour was as cool as unity and as smooth as this. I would love to see dedicated systems revolving around stealth. It should have an open world similar to origins and odyssey, if it became a single city again I would just hate it. Finally combat needs a rework. This is fun, but I would like it if it was a little bit cinematic while keeping it hitbox based (at least badass finishingoves after every kill). And finally story, it should be a really personal story, similar to ezio's, and it should be very well written throughout. This game kinda slipped a bit at the end, but overall it had a great story.
