Love my Tulip Etimo. So smooth. Have been binge watching reviews lately- probably explains why i want a hook collection. I am eyeing up the red tulip etimo at the moment.
I'd never try clover hooks with handle. But I already experience tulip sorbet hooks. They're really really nice! And right now I'm very excited to receive my new tulip etimo gray to try them out!! 😍💙
Oh I haven't tried the Tulip Sorbet hooks yet! I really love the etimo ones! I am excited for you to receive them! I think you're going to love them! 😊
I absolutely love my clover hooks. However, I find that I reach for my tulip books most of the time. I have a set of the the black and gold ones, and just bought an adorable little set that is composed of my three favorite hooks, eight, nine and 10..……… otherwise known as HINJ hooks. They came in a sweet little pink case. Just right for throwing in my bag. The small sad came in paint.❤❤
Team both but i love clover amour a little more than the tulip etimo. At the end both are great quality and comfortable to use for long periods of time & I am really happy that I could have ether of them to use.
Tulips are the best especially if you like short shaft , and the slip on the needles is perfect , the fiber just glides over them .when I crochet I hold my hand close to the shaft so they are perfect.
Agree seeing lots of comparisons of the two, I kind of think people think the Tulip performs better thsn thevzClovdr…because thst’s Whst they hear. HOWEVER… I’ll buy one pink Tulip hook…just to see for myself. My hands are vert small…Like yours…and my Clovers have never hurt.
That's a great idea about buying just one Tulip hook to see how it works for you! I actually did that! I probably wouldn't have bought the set except my sister wanted to buy other one. I am with you about the Clover hooks never hurting my hands! I have found that I reach for my Clover hooks more often than my Tulip ones! 😊
Hi thank you for your thoughts on the Tulips, I am waiting to get my Clover crochet hooks. I've been crocheting for nearly 2 years and have just been using my first off brand hooks. So we'll see how much better the Clover will do. I do have a question that plastic grey item behind you on your shelf, what is that?
I love my Clover hooks, I don’t like the thumb stop on the Tulip. I have 2 sets of the clover amour and only 2 tulip hooks, they both have what I call the hook a combination of the Boye and Susan Bates hook style. My clover were less expensive with my coupons than the tulip. But I don’t hate the tulips.
I love Clover hooks too! I tend to reach for my Clover hooks more than the Tulip ones! Its not that I dislike the Tulip ones, but I just favor my Clover hooks! 😊
Do the pink & grey ones have the engraving/embossing of the words Japan & Tulip on bottom back of hooks (opposite side of the made branding and size on front). I have one of the reds and it rubs against my skin and I find it uncomfortable. I want to try one of the pinks or grays, but you could save me $10 bucks if you can answer this question. If they are all the same, I won't waste the money. THANKS!
Hi! Yes both the pink and grey have the engraving on back of them like the red ones. I have one of the red ones too so I was able to compare. Happy to help! 😊
I have the red tulip set, I love them a lot. However, I really don't like their etimo chunky hooks, and always go for Clover for 8mm and up. Recently have been collecting some Furls hooks, and I love those as well. I find that the Tulip hooks are the best ones for mosaic crochet. The Clover and Furls hooks just don't have the right grab for mosaic pieces.
Ohh that is really interesting about Tulip hooks being the best for mosaic crochet. That is really good to know! I think good chunky crochet hooks are harder to find because they can be so bulky so I will have to check out the Clover ones! 😊
Team tulip!! I like clover as well but I love how smooth the tulip hooks are!
Yes!! It surprised me how smooth the tulip hooks are!! 🤯
🙌 I’m a Tulip lover also . Best needles ever.
Love love love! My Tulip set!! No hand fatigue. Smooth action. Got my set at JoAnn’s for half off with a coupon. Highly recommend!❤❤❤

@@Happymakesu I already receive mine right now!! Will use them asap. I think I gonna love them the way I love my tulip sorbet hook 😁💙

I totally agree!! I am the exact same way! I love being able to switch between both sets! 😊

Nice, but I like the aluminum interchangeable ones for travel.

Thank you for watching! 😊 Are you talking about the yarn winder on the upper left hand corner of the video?
Yes, does it work well?
@bettyluna9203 it’s not the most stable yarn winder but it gets the job done! :)
Forgot to mention, that I do have one red Hook, the size J 10, that I love.

I find my thumb goes numb. Maybe pressing on the thumb stop too much? But it's an issue for me.
I have Clover, but I want a Tulip set, too.
I get what you mean! I have both sets now and I love switching between them! 😊
