Welcome to day 24 of our May #ShonaChallenge!
Today we are learning nyaudzosingwi or ideophones in Shona language.
We hope you are starting to get better at hearing what it sounds like when someone is speaking in Shona now.
Today's video is great because it adds that extra oomph! to the Shona language.
Gogo Alice gives you some examples of ideophones you might have heard already. Words that give extra emphasis to speech and help bring language alive.
These are definite must-haves for your next conversation in Shona.
