I think the point about Rick's toxic behavior and the toxic fandom is a solid one... the whole point is that Rick is a bastard, he's not an idol to be emulated. He's in pain, but a lot of that pain is self-inflicted by him being an asshole. He literally reinvents the universe rather than having to face his issues. And he knows that can't work forever, but he keeps doing it rather than take any concrete steps to change.
Well that was a bad time to address it because saying that being nice is hedging your bets is 100% true. you’re hedging your bets that other people are going to be nice to you if you’re nice to them. that’s why you’re nice to people. if you know someone’s going to be a basted to you going into a conversation you’re probably not going to be nice to them. Also Rick really isn’t a bastard he’s cold and Uncaring towards most people but towards his family other than Jerry he’s loving even if he has an incredibly weird way of showing it. Like with clone Beth he was being nice in a strange way. His daughter wanted to both go out on adventures in space and stay home with her family. so he gave her the option to do both.
@@tyty-xm8fw " if you know someone’s going to be a basted to you going into a conversation you’re probably not going to be nice to them. " Not true in the slightest. I read a few months ago, just after Justin Roiland's arrest about the writing process and problems during the early seasons. One part that stuck out was how they said by season 2, the writing staff was basically divided two groups. There was one group that wanted thoughful, trippy ideas that make you think, like the Roy game. And then there was the other group who would draw something like a pair of balls taking a dump and say "hey, we should put this in the show". After rewatching the first few seasons, it's very obvious that this was the case.
The constant need for the show to stay episodic and raunchy kinda makes a lot of the genuinely emotional moments feel a little hollow. Seeing Rick being lonely and miserable falls flat after a while when those moments never really translate to character growth. In 6 seasons, his only change is that he likes morty more and is slightly more thoughtful to the rest of the family. Him going out of his way to repair the reputation of a dude he was kinda responsible for committing suicide rings hollow when he casually commits genocide later
Yeah you can tell there were like two different philosophies going on with the show. Very much felt like a Roiland Harman split kind of deal. Kind of similar to the supposed John and Paul songs with the Beatles.
Why not address the fact that at the end of the season, when they were looking for a habitable planet to live on, rick has his own universe as a car battery?

Therefore the reference explains why the radio signals have not yet travelled to Birdman's world because they also travel at the speed of light themselves, which shows that Birdman's planet is at least 17 light years away from Earth (Braveheart won the oscar in 1996, the show aired in 2013. so its taken 17 years for the radio waves to reach birdman's planet). When you look at the reference from this perspective the sin is incorrect as it was quite effective in explaining the distance between the planets using time as a reference.

Science trivia: gravity on a planet depends on both the mass of the planet and its size. While the tiny planet is probably not nearly as massive as Earth, if it's dense enough, its tiny radius could allow for similar gravity, since the family is closer to the center of the planet than we are to Earth's. Tl;Dr - Tiny Planet doesn't have to weigh as much as Earth to have the same gravity.
In that case, I'm skeptical that it could possibly have the Earth air pressure, since the gravity would surely diminish with altitude way faster on that tiny planet than on Earth, even if it's 1.0 G at the surface.

"Balls" yep I should watch this with my mom
Hey , when Summer said she peed her pants I also looked and thought the same thing .
That sin you have Jerry for not thinking Rick was smart enough to stop time should be taken off, Jerry isn't smart enough to know how smart Rick is
Are there states where you dont call the cops when you hit an animal? You have to call them for removal from the street if their dead, or just as an awareness If they ran off
Science trivia: gravity on a planet depends on both the mass of the planet and its size.
THANKS
In that case, I'm skeptical that it could possibly have the Earth air pressure, since the gravity would surely diminish with altitude way faster on that tiny planet than on Earth, even if it's 1.0 G at the surface.
@@nthgth good point, and I think the science checks out!
When you freeze time you also freeze light waves which means they can't reach your eyes and you can't see anything. In first episode they see everything clearly.
Polish writer Adam "Snerg" Wisniewski wrote pretty nice novel called "Robot" that uses similar motive. In this novel time is not frozen, but is highly slowed down.
The most important rule of space travel is to bring a towel
Been waiting for this one for a long time!
How do yall know what grass tastes like?🤣
This is TVSins. They do their research.
Also, even in this world, grass is everywhere.
Also also, who hasn't eaten random plants. I know from personal experience that a lot of plants are bitter, and that grass is not.
I suppose the real question is why you don't.
Ähm, in Germany: When you ran over a deer or anything else that is still alive, you have to call the cops. Or the hunter of the district so he can kill it properly. Just to let it be on the ground is animal cruelty.
ur vids rock , thank you
Rick “hey check this out!” Puts the helmet on morty and a ad plays
These advertisements for the regrowing teeth is a scam I have been using it for over a month without noticing no changes whatsoever ! And the ones you chew taste terrible !
It’s weird to suddenly have Jeremy back for an episode most of the way through this. Especially after the joke about never coming back.
wait why did season 5 come out before season 2??
I like how the new episode actually explains the whole dinasoar thing
im giving a sin to you for not counting the dead musicians as "Dead"
I really appreciate the house joke during interdimensional Cabel 2, I love that show and it was a nice surprise to get a reference to it
@57:51 Referring to the festival as a "purge" when Rick called it that to another character.
2:18 that’s not vanity sweetheart, that’s ego/arrogance.
21:21 bcs the parasite didnt know Rick was also part of the family 1:00:34 also he makes some liquid what helps with the wound and in a few episodes Rick is able to attack even with having even worse or more injuries so walking around isnt going to be probably that much of a problem for him
Your sin is making me laugh as hard as this show dose.
1:09:35 was that ReBoot??
When is season 3 and four, I love these long ones
I'm surprised you guys haven't done true blood,We love to see it
6:25 is amazing and funny at the same time! I did not expect that.
Don't wanna nitpick, but that uncertainty joke made me notice the sin counter was at 39, you said you added 8, and the counter went up to 48. That's an extra sin.
Edit: 6:25
Ahh yes finally another season to sin so i can listen to the sins and watch some parts of rick and morty for free
Minus at least one sin you said what if the hood locks on the spaceship but then later on bringing the fact that the ship is sentient.
Plot twist. Mr. poopie butthole is actually a advanced parasite. He suddenly appears in a episode, in a flashback we’ve seen before with No Mr. Poopie Butthole? That’s either a continuity error or there’s something there.
51:36
The problem with Jan Michael Vincent is not that there is 8 Jan Michael Vincents per 16 quadrants.
The Problem is that Quadrent means "each of 4 four quarters of an area". There can only ever be FOUR quadrants because that's what a quadrant is! This isn't no haxadecadant!
You missed an Eyeholes commercial sin. Who's flying the helicopter after the Eyeholes man crashes through the skylight? There was no one else in there when he positions it above the house
The full bowl thing is not a sin. You prevent cereal seepage by putting your hand on it and it magically works. I like full bowl cereal
33:57 maybe because the ship couldn’t move hence why they went in the battery to fix it
Maybe the outlets are like a pin pad and plugging in cords to diffrent outlets opens a hidden entrance or safe. He did it with flies, who can say he also didn't do it with the outlets.
