What is Kanban & How We Use It - JJB Lean Academy

At JJB we use Kanbans for keeping track of our inventory, using it as signal to buy more, make more, order more or print more when we get to a certain level. It helps us stay on top of stock and ensures that we never run out of the things we need.
From the sheets of steel we cut on the lasers, to the toilet rolls in our bathroom, everything has a Kanban and a way of being re-ordered. In this video, Jack shows how we use Kanbans around our factory, and some of the different types available.
