Hi! I've been making a mini partial fursuit of a dog with your old tutorials. I'm sooooooooo excited to use this tutorial to finish him! - Eclipse the Husky Angel Dragon

I'm making a toony-style German shepherd! I have already make the base out of foam, and I'm currently saving for his piercings, eyes, balaclava, fur, and anything else I may need. I'm kind of scared though. His face is not very symmetrical and he's small! His muzzle could fit in my hand easily, and im twelve! Oh well, I won't know till I try!
Regarding both the glasses and dino masks, I found that the therizinosaurus mask is great since its already wide and accommodates my glasses well. I cant wear contacts, due to my eye shape, and I can't go without glasses cause then everything is just a blurred blob. The Theri mask Ive been able to use both with its already installed face padding and with custom foam. I know dino masks aren't really covered here, or "fursuits" per-say but I wanted to just point that out since both glasses and masks got mentioned here.
I’m currently making my first! Her name is mischief and she is just a basic dog with a rhubarb and custard theme (with blue eyes, tongue and accs!) Im working with mini magnets for eyelids and a nose bandaid, and bendable ears! Nothing you haven’t done before but Im looking forwards to this!
I have always made kimono suits and I’m a horrible when I try to make toony suits so I wanna try to make a Toony suit mix with kimono to sort of ease my way into that style! I aim to make a head tail and paws. I am a bit curious though if there is a way to incorporate eye domes into a Toony suit.
I've been looking for ANY details on EARS. Anything from how to shape them, how to securely attach them, and how to fur them. I've seen so many different ways to do it, from furring the ears first, to wrapping the sewn fur around the ear and hot gluing, to having the ears sewn with the rest of the head fur, to curved foam, to flat carved foam, to shaving techniques, TO EVERYTHING. ITS SO CONFUSING!! it would be much appreciated if you went over different techniques and which way goes where- to why and how! Ty!
I'm already planning on making a platypus. I'm working on designs now and plan to use the headform from Fuzzbutt. This series came along at an ideal time for me.
I’m gonna be making a skulldeer creature inspired by the leshy from the Witcher (though her personality will be more based on an actual leshy from Slavic mythology)
This new series is going to be really helpful! Im working on my first foam fursona with paws, feet paws, the mask, and a tail. I have done a dino mask but i know that isnt really the same as a foam mask. My species is going to be an alien wolf cross!
I’m going to finally make my first suit soon! It will be a partial dragon. Anyway, I’m absolutely obsessed with your content Skye, and you help so many people find their community and styles. :)
Here's my homework Skye!! I do have a decent amount of experience and materials, so I think I'm going to be going for a kemono fullsuit, even if it isn't fully covered for non-patreons. I've made another suit before, and though it didn't turn out the best, I've learned from my mistakes and am ready to try again.
I'm planning on making a partial of my character Quiver. He is a Skulk ( A species I made for a world building project ) They usually have horns, a fox like appearance and long lizard like tails with fire at the end. OMG ok so first of all this is such a wonderful series as someone who is (relatively) new to the fandom and to fursuit making! I think I want my first attempt to be my current fursona Rus (short for Rusty) who is a Bernese Mountain Dog canine!
this is great. ive been watching your vids and have been using them to help me make my own fursuit. im doing a partial! the head is tape-patterned currently, but im so nervous about fur direction lmaoo. im so glad youre making this series this is gonna help so much
To be honest, all fur suits are cool! I’m thinking of making my own kemono fursuit for my birthday using a 3d printed base, I’m honestly really excited and i have been watching your videos to help me in the future
As a fursuit maker for many many years but still a beginner, I want to do mostly cartoony suits as it is very much my style, and also kemono suits. I have already made one full suit, two partials, two heads, have most of my first bat fursuit done, two fursuits that I'm going to make, and one pre-made partial I am going to sell. I feel as this series will help me improve a lot more than I already have. Hopefully I can get a 3d printer soon to help with my fursuit making since I don't want to keep having to print at the library.
Im making my first suit rn! Its out of cardboard, which i know isnt the best material, their name is motor, he/him, and aroace (Just like me!) Ive been using crappy materials because i dont have a high budget.
In the process of making an otter partial. Still workin on the head for now, but it's only possible because of you and these fantastic vids! Thank you sooo much! You're very inspirational! ❤
I'm being a bit ambitious with mine, you could almost say my answers to how much and what style are "yes". Partly because I couldn't make up my mind, and partly because I wanted some things I haven't seen.
I've made quite a few fursuits so far but I've always loved watching your tutorials in the background while I work :) Currently making a personal full partial of my dutchie character!
ive been trying to learn how to make a furuit (because of money issues and im unable to buy one of my own) and im super exited to see this series!! thanks for making!
Late to the game BUT I'm in the process of designing my first fursuit; still in the very beginning stages (ie. still working on the reference sheet) and while I'm not going to make the fursuit myself, this is really helping me learn!
I've made around five suits and was just planning my sixth! This will be a fun thing to follow along while I'm working! I'm gonna be making my secondary sona. He's a space themed cow plushie
Ahhh i really want a tutorial on those super long & floppy bunny ears. Also this wasnt uploaded too too long ago so i look forward to your work in the upcoming months! Will be happy to learn w you for my first suit.
Been making my personal suits since 2019 and this year I want to make a (slim) digi full body suit of my main. I will be working with faux fur for the first time then after 7 or so partials/heads. Even now tutorials still help as inspiration and motivation
Omg a remake?? this is great!! I've started suitmaking a long while ago, and have made a few bases which are still in the furring process. This will def help some! I remember seeing all your old tutorials, as well as mugiwara cosplays, Elkdragons, Sparkys, and neffertitys! (prolly spelled all those wrong lol) thanks so much for the help!! Your work is very beautiful and cute!
I would love to follow along, but I feel like the only style of a suit for my sona is a kemono-esce type of deal, darn :( But still, maybe I will finally be able to push myself to start working on it along with this series, so I will be patiently waiting for continuation!
I’m sitting on the couch, eating croutons right now, and it fun watching you and by the way, I’m making an adorable Dino first suit with those big puffy ears😊
I am making my first dino mask and it’s turning out pretty good and I am starting a business for cat masks, dino masks, and maybe even fursuit heads! this helped a lot!!
I want to make a kemono suit. I love their body type and big dome eyes! I know your public tutorial outside of Patreon won't be going over that, but I hope I can take some of the lessons and combine them with other kemono-oriented tutorials out on the web. My plan is a full-body suit although I've yet to tackle the task of sewing that massive part before - let alone proportionally foaming thighs/hips/calf to get that cute digi-style. I had a go at making a head, paws, tail, and feet waaaaay back in 2012 so at least I'm not going in entirely blind. I'm only just now getting back into crafting things again. Time to dust off the old sewing machine, am I right? (lol) The species I plan to attempt is Mega Lucario - with some personal touches to help make them more "me". Like stylized hair tuffs, adding accessories, no spikes on the paw-feet, etc. Other than doing the body, I know the classic Lucario appendages that come from the back of the head will be my second biggest tackle. I'm worried I might make them too heavy, offsetting my balance, or struggle with attaching them without tearing/ripping seams eventually. Plus I need to learn how to make custom accessories that proportionally fit my character's size. Probably not the most beginner-friendly suit to make when just getting back into the swing of things, but the point is to have fun! To enjoy seeing your creation come to life =D Best of luck to everyone who plans to make a suit this year for the first time! I look forward to the new tutorials!
This is gonna be so helpful I was planning to do my own fursuit this year anyway and this is going to be a huge help! My sona is a white deer so making that "paws" is going to be a pain and oh boi keeping that thing clean later but I am all here for it XD Moreso starting with a partial first since after all if I really want more I can always make the rest of the suit at a later time. :D
hell yeah my favorite course! edit: im thinking of making some overly simple small parts of a fursuit of my oc mari to get the gist of things xD i wanna get it done before halloween cuz the past 2 halloweens i’ve dressed up as Ralsei from Deltarune and i dont really wanna repeat that this year… or rather while its still acceptable for me to run around wearing animal costumes on the streets on october 31st.

I've been working on a digi kitsune and your videos have been a huge help! I'm super nervous about starting the head, but I'm determined to see it through.
I'm going to be making my first ever fur suit! hopefully a full partial :3 bunny, strawberry lemonade themed! looking at your tutorials and advice is really inspiring and why I want to do this!
I have made a dinomask head but am hoping to make a head of my main sona grim I’m hoping this helps a lot as for the hw I’m probably gonna do a mini partial as it is simple and not to big so it won’t make as big if a dent in my wallet
Im just wondering but is it hard to learn sewing for fursuit making? Also would it be a good idea to use winter gloves (not like plastic disposable gloves and not the heavy duty ones, like the thin cheap cotton ones) that fit to help make handpaws?
Using winter gloves as a base for paws will make them too warm to wear. Learning to hand sew is relatively easy, you don't NEED a sewing machine. Just look up some tutorials.
I can't make a suit just yet, but I hope to someday! I'm also currently working on a tail and handpaws to go with my dinomask, so I'm excited about this series :)
I've been trying my hand at making a partial suit with a dinomask using Neffertity's tutorial, though that project got put on hiatus due to college classes getting intense at the end of the year. When I decide to continue, I'm sure this series will be very helpful I do wonder, when you get to the hand paws, will you cover how to attach plastic/resin claws? Or perhaps do you know a good tutorial that covers this? I bought some big plastic bear claws for crafts that I want to use for my suit
Some questions Most common method of making and installing jaw hinge? Alternatives to Lycra for head lining? What did you mean by "half lined paws"? Thank you so much for making this series!
I’ve begun to make my first fursuit and it’s of my fursona called blubell! (you can see him in my profile picture ^^) He’s a dragon and I’m trying to make him as a kemono style fursuit and I think it’s turning out pretty good so far, I’ve already made and finished his tail and paws and bis headbase, I’ve just gotta fur his head then I’ll be done :D
Hey skye can I ask a question about making a small tail. So I got a bunch of scrap fur and the sizes vary from small to large. I'm not really sure on how to start the pattern process though.
I've only done partial suits up until now but I'm hoping to be able to make a full lemon suit this time around (gonna be tough because this character has a stomach mouth lol) I'm also wondering whether dying fur for certain colors would work (since my financial situation is less than ideal for buying $60 a yard fur online)
I'm thinking on becoming a furry myself but I have a friend who has been a furry for a few years but has never had a fursuit, he really wants one but he doesn't know how to get it, I want to make him a partial suit and probably keep making fursuits for others afterwards :)
Thank you for these videos! I've got plans to make a partial suit (my first one) later this year or next year. :) I also wanna add some cool lights to it so hopefully that works out.
I'm making a fursuit with a dino mask and it's gonna be a partial fursuit with handpaws, a head, feetpaws and to fill in rest I have a onzie instead of human clothes
I'm so excited. My fiance has been a furry forever but I'm new. I always loved cosplay making so hopefully some of my skills carry over. I'm making a bat for me and a hyeena for him.

I have made a dinomask head but am hoping to make a head of my main sona grim I’m hoping this helps a lot as for the hw I’m probably gonna do a mini partial as it is simple and not to big so it won’t make as big if a dent in my wallet
This comes at such a perfect time! I'm going to be racking my first ever bodysuit very soon. Super helpful
I’m currently working on my second dinomask, I actually was cutting out some of my fur while watching this :)
I’m planing to make my fursona soon, so I’ve been watching videos for ideas! ^^ this should definitely help me! Tysm!
Super excited to find a fellow Queenslander! I’m super new to fursuiting & can’t wait to learn more with your series! 💞
I can't make a suit just yet, but I hope to someday! I'm also currently working on a tail and handpaws to go with my dinomask, so I'm excited about this series :)
I remember deciding to make one and then i looked at fur and discovered the shipping for them would be over double the price for swatches
I've been trying my hand at making a partial suit with a dinomask using Neffertity's tutorial, though that project got put on hiatus due to college classes getting intense at the end of the year. When I decide to continue, I'm sure this series will be very helpful
I do wonder, when you get to the hand paws, will you cover how to attach plastic/resin claws? Or perhaps do you know a good tutorial that covers this? I bought some big plastic bear claws for crafts that I want to use for my suit
Some questions
Most common method of making and installing jaw hinge?
Alternatives to Lycra for head lining?
What did you mean by "half lined paws"?
Thank you so much for making this series!
I shall call u miss Sky and CANT WAIT FOR A NOTHER VID

IM REMAKING MY DINO MASK😍
I want to make a toony partial of my fursona! One thing my sister ALWAYS asks is why so much and I always say "we pay for shipping materials and time"
Sadly I can't afford to follow along with you at this time, but if I could I'd be making a partial, with arm sleeves, and a foam-core tail.
Wow! I really like these videos.I even felt like I was in school!
WHOOP WHOOP! I'd love to make a fursuit so I'll do my best in class.
I’m making my first fursuit it’s going to be a partial and it will be of my fursona Spice the centipede:D
This is so helpful Thank you for putting your time to make this!
I'll definitely be watching this series!!
I'm currently working on handpaws! :D
Wow this will help so much I'm making my first suit and I'm glad this is here hope it helps at least a little bit
I actually working on some paws right now and wow this series is awesome
Hey skye can I ask a question about making a small tail. So I got a bunch of scrap fur and the sizes vary from small to large.
I'm not really sure on how to start the pattern process though.
I've only done partial suits up until now but I'm hoping to be able to make a full lemon suit this time around (gonna be tough because this character has a stomach mouth lol) I'm also wondering whether dying fur for certain colors would work (since my financial situation is less than ideal for buying $60 a yard fur online)
watching this while making my first!
This video learned me a lot on different types of furries! 🐾
All I use is a onesie, leggings (to stuff), and cardboard 😂
I’m making a mini partial for my first suit! It’s gonna be a cartoony hyena :D
I'm so excited. My fiance has been a furry forever but I'm new. I always loved cosplay making so hopefully some of my skills carry over. I'm making a bat for me and a hyeena for him.
Thankyou so so much for this Skye!! I’m working on my first fursuit head using your tutorial :')
