Reviewing Callies Ultra I-Beam Connecting Rods

For our small block Ford build, we opted for a set of Callies' Ultra I-beam connecting rods. We went with a 6.200" rod that features a Chevy rod journal, despite our engine being a Ford platform. This rod's quality construction and strong material make it a great choice for numerous applications and engines.

I use to run these before I went to a aluminum rod there very good rods never broke one.

So is this simply a Centered/Normal Style LS Rod that is run 0.010" or 0.020" Off Center at the Pin/Piston (4.380 Bore Center vs 4.400) ? or a Big End Off-Set SBC Rod ? All 3 Rods in the Aftermarket (from the same Manufacturer/Same Line) seem to match dimensions (SBC, LS, SBF) with 2.225 Big End Bore, 0.94" Big End Width, 1.0-1.01" Pin End Width, 0.927 Pin, 7/16 Bolts etc.

aren't offset con rods stronger by design than the standard I beam design?
