Sorry for being late and you already know this but you can make a cut on those peg holes so you could pull them apart more easily. Also cut the pegs themselves diagonally.
Great job....looked like a lot of fun even though the paint job might have been a bit fiddly. The beauty of masking is the reveal and you did a stellar job on the painting and the weathering so congrats!
I built Lukes xwing the fitting of the pieces is pretty amazing but having only recently returned to modelling after about 50 years unfortunately didn't have the confidence to paint it yet :(
This video made me want to airbrush. Nice work on the X-wing. I now have almost all the equipment I need to start. I even bought this X-wing and the same paints you used. Question: at 1:49 what is the dark gray color covering wings? Thanks!
I started with a $90 all-in-one combo kit from Amazon that came with a small compressor and 2 airbrushes. I felt like it worked well for a beginner and I still use the air compressor. If youve got more $ to spend, everything Im building these days is with Iwata and Badger brushes.
Always liked Poe's plane. Even with weathering, it can still be pulled off for a crisp clean look
Thanks! Comparing it to Luke's x-wing, Poe's is so much sleeker
Great build - love the paint finish and weathering. Excellent!
Thank you very much!
Awesome job💯
Thanks!

Wow!!! Wonderful👌👌👌
Nice job! Looks like an excellent X-Wing to me. Next: The Millenium Falcon in 1:72?
Thanks! Maybe if I can clear off some shelf space. p.s. nice job coming up with "Modelorian". I like it

Thank you. Its very satisfying pulling back the tape to reveal a straight line. Also very disappointing when there is the smallest bit of bleed thru
Looks great!

Does it look good though even without the paint?
Beautiful!
Thanks! ,👍
Looks great.
👍👍
Amazing work, I have a question. What time of thinner did you use for clean de extra paint in the panel lines ?
Mineral spirits. Not specifically meant for modelling, but you can buy a large bottle for cheap and most importantly it works just fine.
Nice work man :)
Thanks 😁

Thank you and good luck. At 1:49 the camera shot is a little washed out but the color is XF-69 Nato Black
@@ScaleModelAssassin thank you!
is the stand included on the set?
Yes it is. Each Bandai star wars kit I've bought came with a stand, which is awesome
What airbrush would you recommend for a begginer?

Where to buy base stand?
It comes in the box with the model.
@@ScaleModelAssassin thanks mate!
Hello. Can you build a sukoi su 22?

Just go for it! Watch/read some "how to" content and give it a try. Keep at it and every attempt will get better.
