FYI i learned how to braid different types of rope. I made a 3 foot long rope, then tied a knot 🪢 every inch for budgie to grip, then toed that from the side of her cage to the top of the ceiling using a small 🪝 hook…. It’s her absolute favourite balance/climb.

Great playground,Birds do love to play.Like your cockatiel mine also loves biting wood or cardboard when I make something, she even takes the piece of cardboard and runs under the dining table and plays with it.

I watch ur vids with my budgies in hopes of taming them. They end up next to the cage door staring intently at the video. 😂

I set up her playground just outside of her cage. Everyday i drop her cage entrance down like a drawbridge and she is able to hop from the cage directly onto her main swing, then up onto her rope climb, then across to her other swings, she is in heaven all i did was buy some coffee sticks, and hemp twine, 100% natural i use knots and holes *no glue* or anything toxic! :)

Hi Alen! Is there a certain type of wood you use? And isn’t using hot glue (when it’s dried up of course) dangerous for budgies. My budgies destroy literally everything🥴
Yes, I heard the glue is not good to use because they are always chewing and can get very sick.

Hey, I was wondering...my budgie often sits on my shoulder and does a single wing flap. Not the typical flapping like crazy while holding onto a perch...that is different...this is one flap then stops then does again maybe every 10-15 seconds...he often does this after my female sings to me...he comes and then runs her off and sits there doing these single flaps. Does is mean he is jealous for attention?

But i have a problem whit my budgies, you can see them in my profile pic the yellow one is thor and the blue one is a female named mono so the problem is that they are scared of me ok at leaat one of them is(thor)
Mono is fine whit me outside the cage but none of them are fine whit my hand in ther cage they didnt fly ar first they kinnda runned away but my brother scared them and not they are flying evrwhere then i put my hand in the cage, i tryed evrything like holding my hand in the cage for 5 mins a day
But it didnt help any tips?
Oh and when i got them they ate from my hands and even perched on the stick that i was holding but again my brother scared the shit out of them! He thinks that they are bumb and spoiled!
