If she just doesn't like the ruling (I don't either for the record, its a horrifying precedent, and very similar to a ruling in Germany in the early 1900s that preceded the war) then this feels like meaningless theater, just trying to drum up support that at least she's doing something when in reality there's no realistic chance of such an impeachment going through. I personally do feel, with maybe 1-2 exceptions, this Supreme Court is completely corrupt on both sides, there shouldn't BE sides in the supreme court, so I would be all for dumping them all an enacting supreme court reform, but not if that just means Biden, or whoever the current president is at the time the reform goes through, gets to stack the court with a new set of corrupt judges. In fact clear bias toward a political view should be a disqualifier.
The current Supreme Court is abiding by the law as it is written. Some people simply are not happy that the rulings are the result of following the law when they would prefer the rulings to go the other way.

What I think they were trying to say was that a justice has never been removed from their position via impeachment as none have ever been convicted. You are right that it is not exactly precise to say that none have ever been impeached, as "impeached" can simply mean having had articles of impeachment passed against them in the House - but some use the word to mean impeached AND convicted by the Senate.
