Brilliant Video :) And the Microphone Sound sounds great too. Very natural. Good that you read the Manual. I think many people would do the same but then can not find the Solution to the problem, so I am glad you actually encountered the issue and managed to make sense of the wrongly described reset procedure for this Headset. And describe it correctly. I am you help many Corsair VOID owners. Maybe you can turn it into a TH-cam Shorts Video.
Thanks Kathrin :) I was thinking about doing a short, so now that you mentioned it I will take a few minutes to create one. There is still a problem with low-volume from the mic that I found a solution for yesterday. I believe I mentioned that at the start of my Live Stream on Sunday. So I will be creating a second video showing everyone how to correct that which I hope to have going up by Sunday. It is caused by the headset not having a hardware pre-amp, along with Windows not having a software version to fill the need.
@@KathrinHausermann Thanks Kathrin. It's all done and scheduled to go up tomorrow morning. Although I may change the thumbnail before it becomes public.
I really don't understand what the problem might be. Mine had (or has) either of those problems. If it were wired, I would suspect the cable or once of the connectors. Maybe you have some sound configuration in Windows that was set that way.
I meant that i can only hear sounds from my left earphone and not the other one even after i just bought them. Plus when i was looking at the sound settings as some tutorials do i do not have the balance settings for the headphones. But it could be something with my drive since i did not test them on a different pc

Great review. I had this headset years ago and loved it. It unfortunately broke on me in an accident, but I just recently purchased another pair. I'll be getting them today. I had gotten the Alienware 920H tri-wireless headset and I went through 2 pairs of those, one with a battery issue and the other one of the earphones broke off, not sure how it happened (they were made very cheapily) so i'm hoping this void pro elite lasts me awhile. I ran into that same battery issue before on mine, and forgot how to fix it so thank you for covering that at the end. I'll be sure to charge it for up to 3-4 hours before I setup & use.
@@PE4Doers Had an issue with the indicator light not reading properly, it was charged but still said it was charging. I found the solution of repairing the iCue software. Seems to be working now just fine. :-) How is your pair holding up after 2 years?
There is a rocker switch call the Jog Dial at the rear bottom of the left ear piece. You can download the user manual from Corsair at: res.cloudinary.com/corsair-pwa/image/upload/corsairmedia/sys_master/productcontent/EU_VOID_RGB_ELITE_Wireless_QSG.pdf
Also, you should also watch my video on volume issues where the Mic Volume is too low when using the headset with certain Operating Systems and Applications: th-cam.com/video/HKpr8L-PFRI/w-d-xo.html
I had a problem where it looks like my computer recognizes the device and everything, but I don't hear any sound from the headphones whatsoever. When I power it on and off, I still get beeps, so speakers aren't a problem. I must be overlooking something very simple.
You need to go into the Sound setting of the PC and set it up as the speaker. For some reason it does not automatically do that. Also, the volume is VERY low unless you add software such a Equalizer APO (which I describe in the video)
@@PE4Doers Actually, I solved the problem once I installed the software. For some reason, Windows 10 recognized the headphones even before I installed the software, but they only worked correctly after installing.
My wireless adapter recently broke, so I was curious if you know of any way that I could connect it so it is wired so that I wont need the adapter because the company stopped making them so I cant buy another one.
Oh no, sorry to hear that. It is suppose to be using standard Blu-Tooth, so I assume there is some way to connect it with another adapter, but I have never tried doing that. Sorry. Have you tried eBay?

Awesome and very informational content! This helped me so much. But I have encountered 1 problem. I have purchased that headset wireless too but without a dongle from eBay. It turns on with no problems but then I can't connect it to my iMac. Is there a way to connect it wired? because the dongle by itself is really expensive and I'm trying to avoid that.
Hi PE4Doers. Do I need to install the software to use the headphones? Or can I just plug in the provided USB and use straight away? I get nervous as previous Corsair software has crashed my Windows and took a long time to resolve.
