I might do a video about it, but there is a problem in the game with center midfield not tracking back so there is a big hole. You cannot fix it fully, but you can work around it. The guys on OS sliders do a great job of mitigating it noticeably, switching to Legacy defending to pair with it helps as well. I always use at least the second-highest pressing and drop my backline lower. I guess if you want even more make sure you have High defensive workrate CDMs, play 5 man defence or set your CDM on drop back between CBs in 4 man defense.
Hi! Well, try it out! Entirely depends on if the end formation is something you want and works for you. The label on it shouldn't matter, only if you want the player in that area of the pitch. I played a 4-2-3-1 and moved one of the 2 into CDM, looked a little scuffed on paper, but played well either way.
Not at all! The way it is in the game code, players get the same match xp regardless of what position they play in. It differs based on competition, minutes played, but not position. I might make a video about this in the future. :)
Well it's all dependant on a calculation. Check his boosted sharpnes number when he's on the bench, and then in the position. Once the number goes down too much it turns red. He probably grew in some key stats that are not important for CAM but are important for his original position, so the calculation difference got more pronounced.
@@ralffootball Okay, just to clarify, its Carvalho that's originally CAM, playing CM. On the bench its like +5 and in that position its -2, but that ! icon when a player is in a wrong position can be yellow when its slightly off, or red if its completely wrong. And it turned from yellow to red suddenly, which I think is weird if he's a CAM playing CM, what happened/how to fix?
I had a CF who could play ST but whenever on ST it would turn yellow until i gave him more games in that Striker position.. the yellow mark wasn't on him after a few games.. i believe it has to do with experience
Nothing like that exists in the game. I'm sorry, this is not football manager. He probably grew some attributes that the ST values so he broke even on the overall boost.
Well can you care to explain this then. AWB-RB, Lindelof-CB, Telles-LB, Bruno-CAM Rashford-LM and greenwood-RM all of them in the correct position in my team and they all have yellow Exclamation Marks on them care to explain that?
From what I understand from playing is that, Yellow means they are not in their preferred position/ in secondary positions. While if the "!" is Red they are out of position like ST in CB. If you want the yellow to go away just covert that position to their preferred.
Yes, but the point of the video was that you don't have to care. The only difference changing a position will make is a) different focused training, b) focused growth in only certain stats in the time of transitioning, c) difference in ovr (just a number, your stats don't actually change more than they would change if trained as usual in old position).
They also change the rate their Growing. If playd in a wrong position they grow shower. And they also dont hawe Great positioning when playing in wrong position

How to stop open side and center throught balls? It is big hole in deffence. Imposible to stop.

Can I just adjust position via team sheet not training? or will this create an odd formation = worse overall team result/performance
