    50,000 to 250,000 Yen?! I just googled the conversion rates, and in American dollars, that's less than $2,500!! That's so cheap for such a cool van!

    the small middle seat, when you slide it forward it is to free up space and rotate the main seats. so that you are facing the back seat

    Wow, never knew you could have one of these vans with a 350z motor. Impressive.

    Headlight levelling is not just for trailers. Here in Europe all cars must have that feature, except cars with HIDs - these must be auto-levelling. You use use it when you load up your car with people/stuff in the back, which tilts the car increasingly towards the rear as you load the rear axle. This makes the headlights effectively shine higher than designed, so you need to lower the beam to not dazzle the oncoming traffic. Different will have different meanings for the numbers, but here on a 0-3 scale you'd most likely set 0 for an empty car with just the driver, 1 for a car full of people but nothing in the boot, 2 for people with a full boot, while 3 is the "extreme" setting eg. if you just load the boot with something heavy, with all of the weight at the rear axle.
    European countries in general are more anal about this kind of thing, but the benefits of being anal are clearly visible - driving at night in the USA is a nightmare when you've been driving in EU all your life, just because nobody cares about any of this.

    Man, why don’t we get these awesome minivans here!?
    The last really neat one the US got was the Previa, and you cannot find those here anymore.

    That is a very sexy lookong van. I think that would sell quick if it was on the side of the road with a for sale sticker here in Canada.

    These have horrible gas mileage and the turning circle is terrible but it's pretty comfortable to ride in.
    I could have gotten one for free but the taxes are pretty damn high due to it being a 3500cc engine so I passed on it.

    Is that an AZ-1 I see back there? What do those usually sell for at auction?

    • @PacificCoastAuto
      @PacificCoastAuto  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The video for the AZ-1 is going up tomorrow... with a giant mistake in it.. lol.
      Prices are about 300,000 - 1,000,000 yen for most of them. Though low-grade ones are really rough and represent about 80% of them out there.

    What kind of thing is that on the bumper at 2:22?

    • @netmatrix75
      @netmatrix75 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It looks like a driver car corner marker. There is supposed to be a a long lighted wand there, so you know where to position the car as to not scratch the bumper or knock into things.
