Thank you so much for making and sharing this document. I am a busker for about 8 years and I can see many common points. The joy it gives to me and the other people and problems on the other side like police, neighbors, law, etc. Thank you for a great document!
i started busking during d pandemic cz venues folded up. Back n time iv always wanted to do this. In a 3rd world country i never thought it will work...
30:44 Amen sister! You nailed it right on the head. There are many ways to achieve what you say. You are busking, I am teaching English as a foreign language in Asia, and your words really hit the nail on the head. God bless you, and keep on rocking! Your songs are AMAZING!!! Peace!
excellent Documentary wow I used to Busk all the time I have been thinking of it again when it warms up weather to cool right now I had a lot of fun doing it and I was a hard worker some of these acts are so good I love this ...thanks
I am in school right now, I still have 4 years and then I am specialized in 1 thing..... Yes I did choose this myself.. But I do not see myself doing this in a couple years... And at this moment in time I just want to go out on the streets and give people some music, cheer up a sad everyday life like I have right now... But it is so sad to see that I just cannot do that... because the police doesn't want ''disturbance'' on the streets. Everywhere I go on webites to see what rules you have to follow or if you need a licence... most of the time the licence is so expensife that the busking wont even make up for it....... I am lost
I love the Argentinians and their philosophies. I love the idea that each person is a world...of his own, and the most important thing from the point of view of a band is to be able to mix together the best parts ....which gets them through the tough parts of working together.
Life in freedom, can be paradise or hell depending on where you are and what you do. If you do nothing that can harm even the smallest living being, youre protected in most places with most people. Just gotta know where and with who to go or not to go.
A musical performance needs dynamic variation. Loud soft, Fast slow. A documentary film needs variation as well. This one lacks it. Although I find the info very interesting. the film became monotonous, unwatchable, around the midway point. Very good film in many ways, but sorely lacking in organizational variations.
"Only two legal places in England" to busk ... what? What utter nonsense. I often busk in more than two places in a single day. Playing music in the street in England is not a generally regulated activity and is legal.
Here's a similar short film I made about being a busker... Aqui una pelicula que hice en la misma vena sobre ser busker... th-cam.com/video/io4uvYhIz_8/w-d-xo.html
That philosophical reggae dude seems like such a legend! That American lady who reckons there's only 2 places it's legal to busk in England is full of shit. Me and my friend busk all over England all the time. Even places where you're supposed to have a license you can get away with it usually.

Busking for bitcoin in 2021
Some buskers are greedy - grab best spots and are there playing same stuff every day. It gets boring for the locals. Please buskers- move about
