They're a solid continuation of where this was heading, if you ask me. Give them time if it's not quite yet your thing. Best band in the last few years, in my opinion.
The mix sounded off a bit when they played Joa. The album version is a lot more gnarlier sounding and I think they were having a hard time finding their instruments in this studio. Nonetheless this band rules.
Luc ky ah- yes- after a second view i saw the 'fender' logo on the bridge. the slide switches on the jag threw me. Those Teisco'sa are popping up more and more though. Daughter has the 'tulip' 110 i think it was. single pickup base model. my dad had the up scaled with a pile of pickups and switches.
Lol these arnt nearly as good as they think they are, most of this instrumentals are weak poorly put together and even out of key, just trying to make weird noises for the sake of it. Im sorry but ANYONE could do that, try forming it into somthing cohesive and progressive take the listener on the jouney, this is just a thin veneer of noise behind it nothing much is happening.
Must have watched this hundreds of times. Best performance on KEXP to date (November 2022). Love to see FACS in the studio.
