That's a warm up post. Its tall so there legs are fully extended when they ride around the pit area and warm up before a race. It simulates a full extension as needed becasue your legs are the shock absorbers as they roll and jump the track.

I did check out your page, very cool! Bill Allen aka Cru Jones was at the USA Bmx grand nationals this past weekend. He has a few thing in the works, his RAD army apparel is available,and they are recreating the hell track in Texas at the TexPlex Bmx park and holding a organized race there this summer.
thanks. ya after i put out that rad tribute video i told you about on my page. they featured it on the official rad movie page on fb. then eddie fiola sent me a friend request. i thought that was pretty cool. my fit is set up as a race bike. havent been to a track in years. i live on mt hood in oregon. i raced in illinois at farmer city a few times. i know about the hell track they are making. i need to be there. so cool.
