I'm sure that this vid made us Beidou mains really happy. She's finally getting the credit she deserves. Soon people will realize, like I have, that Beidou is actually a 5* that Mihoyo disguised as a 4*. How can you hit so damn hard, be so damn Tanky and be able to have massive use even while off the field(Q). I'm somewhat F2P so ofcourse I'd learn about all those 4* and I can undoubtedly say that Beidou far outclasses all the other 4* in terms of overall viability. Her damage is on par with Razor who has been said to be one of the best DPS in the game yet she's hella tanky and can transfer her Q to other chars also making them more tanky and cause endless reactions. If that doesnt scream 5* to you, then I just dont know whatelse you could ask for.
XIANGLING is pretty close to her though. She isnt that tanky, but her fire uptime damage for a non mage class user is unbeatable. And not to mention pure physical dps...

But a full physical build puts all her damage reliability into her normal attacks which generally only hits single targets and has almost no stopping power. Which isnt as bad as it sounds actually. But even a properly built hybrid Beidou can outclass a full physical Xiangling. Beidou is a Claymore user which generally means her normal attacks hit considerably harder. She hits multiple targets with almost every swing and she has a lot of stopping power. Then there's the matter of her second passive which increases her normal attack speed and damage. So just by looking at stats and stats alone, you can see that Beidou's physical damage is better than Xianling even if you're building Beidou hybrid. So in the end, while a hybrid Beidou is doing more damage than a full physical Xiangling, she's still drawing a lot of power and viability from the rest of her kit as she's still a tank/support in one. For what it's worth, my Beidou is currently hitting 9k-12k on normal attacks, about 40k Elemental Skill and about 4k on her Electro discharges from her Elemental burst. This is without any sort of buff or debuff. Just her raw damage.
@@lem09able Im sorry if this sounds harsh but I dont think you could be any more wrong. You said that Beidou's kit is meant to only be used as a tank/counter which is false. You see, despite being the only Claymore user to have 5 attacks in her normal attack combo, the percentages and scaling are still almost on par with the other tank/support Claymore users. So in her first 4 attacks, she's doing about the same, if not, more than the others and that 5th attack is what puts her above. Her attack speed is not actually slow. It only looks that way because to complete her combo, she does 5 attacks. If you test it with a timer, Beidou's full combo takes about 3.5sec without any buffs. Noelle and Razor, who is a dps, takes about 2.8sec, Xinyan takes about 3.1sec and Chongyun takes about 3sec and they all do only 4 attacks. As you can see, her attack speed isn't that far off despite having an extra attack. Therefore her normal attack is still a bit better than that of the other tank/support Claymore users. But she has an edge over them. Her 2nd Passive Talent: Lightning Storm increases her attack speed and damage. So in the end, she's still dealing more damage with her first 4 attacks than the other Claymore users at a faster rate. All this is a clear indication that Beidou is at least a grade above a tank/support. Her second passive ascends her to the level of DPS. And to your point about keeping her on the field will make you rely on her normal attacks a lot, yes that's true. Hence why she has that second passive and works best with a Hybrid build. So your normal attacks are doing a pretty good amount of damage, your Elemental skill is doing a ton of damage and your Elemental Burst is doing a ton of damage over time. She's also the most sustainable dps since she has a shield(2 at con1) and she can reduce damage taken as well as interruption. Which if you havent figured it out already, is more indication that she should be on the field for a longer period of time. Believe me bro, I've played her since launch. I would know.
Oh, hello my fellow Beidou main friend, glad to see you, because I havent seen many people with her as the central character. I have some 5 stars characters but I still have her as my leader, because she is so satisfying to play and can hit pretty hard. Mind if I ask you what set do you use on her?
@@mintvalery Not at all. I'm currently running her hybrid by using a 2pc Bloodstained Chivalry and a 2pc Thundering Fury. Another set to consider is the 4pc Thundersoother. This only really works if you have her at Con4 and not using many reactions on her. Ive tested it myself and she definitely deals more damage. In terms of stats, I'm actually running her on a physical goblet and my crit rate is 50%+ with crit dmg150%+. If you're curious as to why I'm running a phys goblet instead of electro, it's simply because the damage on her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst is already considerably high. Also, Beidou's ascension stat is electro dmg. With those points, she has enough support for her electro damage and with the phys cup, it compliments her second passive. Currently, my Beidou is hitting from 8k-12k on normal attacks and 40k+ on Elemental Skill. This is without aid from other characters, foods or pyro res.

She is the must fun character to play because her counter skill requires some timing. This game does not have perfect evasions or similar fun mechanics so combat is a bit dull

When I had no zonglie i started using beidou for her counter and damage absorption for avoiding damage and it works very well and i loved it and i am not gonna change her from my team.
