This was such an exciting thing to do. We had no idea what we were getting into. Things went wrong for both of us on the moon. I think we forgot to take enough oxygen. Eventually I made it back in one piece. The reason we had to wait so long is that you have to launch while the moon is in the sky. Otherwise you never reach it. I'm going to watch my own footage again after this :)
I happened to be on the server when you guys were just about the head out to the moon and decided to record it. It was cool to see you guys lift off and see how you fared on the moon! :)
I believe I at some point was included on the discord but I wasn't much into that at the time. I think the interface just overloaded my senses and the whole multiple online people online thing was a bit overwhelming, as is streaming for me. It is possible to acclimatize to it if I just give myself time to adjust. I think a game has to grab me, as well as the interaction for me to be able to spend time on it consistently. The people and the interaction is important for sure. Thing was my schedule just didn't sync up with you guys - for a long time was working super long days, stressed out, lots of night shifts (those stupid 72 hour shifts, or any shifts for that matter, more regular hours - although I amassed extra 2 months worth of overtime this year) Might still have to give it a go - the learning curve can be steep when people have been into a game for a long time and having to jump in. Although Gie has been super patient in the past trying to get me into Z. And we had fun doing the online Skyrim thing, as well as Mario Kart 8 at some point. Miss those interactions though.
@@lactobacillusprime To be honest, the experience has never been quite the same since. Mods change, things work differently. And Gie has always been the one to dive in and go brute force on working things out. It can be hard to keep up. We try every now and again, but it's over my head sometimes. I'll get on the first time and there will be a nuclear power plant humming somewhere. Gie's started a new server. I've been on it once and built a place. Maybe a machine or two. So maybe...

@@lactobacillusprime My footage is of a different time we went up. Donny was there which I don't even remember. Cool to watch it all again.
I can just imagine you three in Valheim, fighting and building and exploring, it would be hilarious. There are some great vids on yt guys coop-ing.
Yes, that would be interesting as well. I should put your gift to better use. :)
You should have been on our discord I think. Would have made the wait more bearable.
