the stud muffin is ALIVE! looks like the motor is as smooth as a sewing machine
brake parts are coming! excited to get this guy on the road
oh yea love the rides name!
And THAT is why he's THE stud Muffin! He just keeps on going until it's complete!!!
I’m going to hear it cranking in my dreams tonight.
Haha sorry for the nightmares!
Yes, it will run again, after another 36 years of cranking the motor.😂
Haha yeah we cranked on it quite a bit
My father had 6 Studebaker larks 5 62's and a 59 lark. When he got it the engine was mm locked up and he had to rebuild the engine. It was a v8 also. Looks like had a rough time with yours they can be stubborn to work on.
That’s a lot of studebakers! Did he restore any of them? Yeah this was kinda tough, but it was sitting a long time and honestly I’m still learning the diagnostic side of this hobby.
@@DaysofPainandVictory yes they all run on the road. He found parts at Studebaker car shows and the Studebaker club.
@DaysofPainandVictory there is a breather tube off the engine on the passenger side is where the smoke could have been coming from. It has a open crankcase.
@@davidbarr832 thanks good to know!
@@DaysofPainandVictory When I got my drivers license in 1983 I drove a 62 Studebaker lark with no power steering or power brakes. And it had three on the tree which made it interesting. The examiner definitely seemed nervous. LOL
Omg...hard to watch...props for getting it running though.
What made it hard to watch? What can we do to make it better?
@@DaysofPainandVictory it's just a lame comment, keep doing what u do...and I did subscribe to your channel...
rough spots were extended cranking time with out making changes. not saying its easy believe me I know. just needs a little fat cut off to maintain interest@@darrenreinke4482
@@DaysofPainandVictory spraying tons of starting fluid down a bone dry engine was a little rough but its your car lol.. cylinders prolly shine like a diamond now though
@@mattrage1673 we did two stroke gas and oiled the cylinders as well so it wasn’t all starter fluid. Thanks for watching
What are you asking for it???
It’s sold already
It is a Pig of a car.
We’ll put a little lipstick on it
