Our Rating System:
We rate albums out of 10. Any album that scores 8 or higher gets a Toe Tag. If an album gets Two Toe Tags then it gets added to the list in the link above. We do not review EP's but we may cover them in our New Release videos should they come up.
In regards to our Reaction videos:
As many of you know TH-cam can be an unpredictable and often unfair place when it comes to copyright rules and their enforcement. If our video ends up getting cut due to copyright reasons it will be labeled in the title as a Review rather than a Reaction. The music video portion of the video will be cut out and you will only see our before and after thoughts. Unfortunately this is the best we can do under those circumstances and we would appreciate a Like rating on our videos to help us overcome any negative algorithmic affects.

This is a single I believe and is quite a different sound to there usual stuff, you guys should go check out some there older songs they are a lot more deathcore / beatdown
Moreof slam, especially with chapter 1. They even had the original vocalist of vulvodynia as a feature on there
You guys should do 'dead man's diary', 'curse us' and 'please end me'. All 3 are fucking bangers
I'm surprised this was your guy's first time covering Paleface Swiss! This band hooked me in last year when they released their album Fear & Dagger mostly from the single The Orphan and I have been a fan ever since! They have dropped 3 new singles months apart from each other Best Before Death, Please End Me and this one. Haven't announced an album yet really hoping they do soon \m/
the orphan is insane. that song goes absolutely crazy. gallow is nice and all but definitely not their best work.
Their older stuff is much heavier. They are more of a deathcore/beatdown band. Please End Me (their previous single) is heavy as fuck and Orphan is just as brutal but longer brutal.
This is their best song. And epic video to match
This is an incredible band that I would love to see you guys do any of their other music.
First time hearing this band as well. I like it. 🤘🏽🤘🏽
I think because people are saying to you guys they sound like Slipknot so much you're kind of already looking for that. In my opinion I can hear a little in the vocal style but that's really all. Nothing else to me sounds like slipknot in this or their previous shit but that's just me
You gotta check out the track The Orphan. That one really put them on the map!
Maybe one day Slipknot would be able to sound as good as Paleface
Sounds like Slipknot and Parkway Drive had a baby. 🔥🔥Nonetheless
Great reaction TBH yes some parts do sound like slipknot... but this a palefaceswiss sound all the way... talking about peace in the gallows.. I felt that...
I've been a fan of slipknot since like 02, and I will definitely say paleface swiss's older stuff doesn't sound like slipknot. This is kind of a "mellower" song from paleface swiss 😂. They are definitely beatdown and deathcore, fucking love paleface swiss. Definitely check out curse us, the orphan, please end me and so many other good songs.
Got to check out please end me and best before death, that’s was their two previous singles. All of their songs are BANGERS!
I thought you guy's already done a reaction to orphan by them when it was released
Its there first song with clean vocals if i remember correct and the " older" songs are heavier i.m.o.
They have a song called “my grave / lay with me” which has cleans and is a bit more chilled compared to their other stuff. It’s one of my favs by them, would really recommend it
@@WoodyRunning ok. Didn't know this. Will check the song
Their other songs are a lot more of a brutal beatdown style I would check some out like curse us or please end me
Paleface Swiss slaps hard this album coming up it’s going to be sick and I can’t wait to guys check there last single please end me that song it’s sick and heavy af check it out 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Ive been listening to Paleface for several years now. This is a cool sound but not my favorite. This does have a very different sound than previous songs. Typically they are more beatdown/deathcore and dont usually have cleans. Check out "Orphan" ...one of my faves
ETA: they are AMAZING live 😁
You gotta do the orphan or deathtouch
This song is good, but those are better imo
You guys should do Please End Me.
Certain parts reminded me of parkway drive…the vocals sound like old Corey nothing else is like Slipknot at all
There are a few parts like Slipknot.
This way different from their other stuff I'm used to them just being straight up like beatdown style deathcore
Even though this song is fire, I think you guys should check out the tracks from Fear and Dagger, you'll get a better idea of the normal sound on that album, still lots of slipknot influences but much truer to the beatdown identity of the band
You should react to please end me this is a very different sound for them. Their older stuff is much harder
Is harder, better?
@TwoToeTags depends on what you think, it's actually more a pre production sound so it sounds odd. I just discovered your channel so I have no clue what you guys like 🤣
@@FitnessFreak3_2 Generally we like anything but we don't like everything, if that makes sense lol
@@TwoToeTags yeah I completely understand where you're coming from
You guys need to check out please end me
Okay
Its the vocals I don't hear any extra percussion drums/kegs being hit a DJ or a a sampler and you said it's not the guitars does that make it the drummers fault? lol I'm just joking i didn't really pay enough attention to the drums will re listen with that in mind but yeah I'd say it's mainly in the vocal delivery.
It hurts me that this is your first paleface song. That's rookie numbers. Time to step your game up lol
This is not even paleface top ten songs. They have much much heavier songs that makes u want to turn the earth inside out
Please End Me or Orphan does not sound like slipknot...
Yall see Jay Weinberg got booted from Slipknot? Wild. Clown needs to be stopped before he destroys the band.
Ya we heard. What makes you think Clown is responsible?
@TwoToeTags apparently he's the source of alot of drama according to the reddit pages and running things behind the scenes
@blackfox1320 "according to the reddit pages" is just a bunch of people on reddit speculating without evidence lol
@TwoToeTags fair enough. Still sad to see him go. Slipknot seems to be on the wrong path and this one really hurts. I'm sure they'll attract a ton of talent at tryouts and I'm excited to see where Jay lands. Just disappointed about the whole thing.
Honestly, they sound nothing like Slipknot. Heck, not even close to modern crappy Slipknot. Yes, I hate modern Slipknot. They sucks. But Paleface Swiss sounds great. They heavy and at the same time melodic, and then this song is pure banger. So yeah, this band is 100% better than modern Slipknot. No pun intended.
You dont hear any resemblance to Slipknot at all?
@@TwoToeTags Nope.
@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 Broken ears 🤷🏻♂️
@@TwoToeTags As far as I checked, my ears is 100% good in terms of hearing. I was in the hospital not too long ago and again, my hearing is completely fine. No pun intended.
@deathcold_longplaysua4846 OK well everyone else agrees that elements of this band sound like Slipknot. Maybe you just don't listen to enough Slipknot to hear the similarities or maybe your ears are focused on other elements of the music and you're tuning out the Slipknot parts. Either way, you're wrong. No pun intended.
This shows your bias towards Slipknot. It is a ripoff of Slipknot and you still like it a lot yet you complain all the bands that, you say, sound like Lorna Shore. It sounds like Lorna Shore soured you on dearhcore. You shit a on a deathcore band putting out a deathcore album. Then when they don't experiment you shit on them too. I don't watch all of your videos but I believe the last good thing you had to day about a deathcore song was Enterprise Earth - The World Without Us. It is a great song. That's my opinion. Whatever happens to you don't turn into the Thrawls Of Metal guys. They hate everything deathcore and love everything deathmetal that sounds like it was recorded back in 1990 in Florida.
It wasn't Lorna Shore that soured us it was the fans who praised Lorna Shore. The Will Ramos era of Lorna Shore did nothing special. They didn't reinvent anything or do anything new but fans treated it like they were the next big thing. This type of reaction is seen by other bands so they try to replicate it. Then you get bands like Immortal Disfigurement and Left to Suffer trying to tap into that hype train which, in our opinion, is undeserved. Lorna shore is just doing what's right for business. It's the fans with low standards who put mediocre bands on pedestals which cause the entire genre to feel watered down. When it comes to Paleface, yes it sounds like Slipknot but it wasn't a predictable song. It didn't copy Their formula exactly. It just had individual elements that were similar, and that's where the differences lie. You could put Immortal Disfigurement song on a Lorna Shore album and nobody would tell that it's a different band. Put this song on Slipknot album and it will feel out of place.
