I love the respect and consideration given to you guys by the other pilots working on some gas powered weed whacker powered flying machine while you try and film. Keeping it classy as usual you refrained from offering them some tips on proper etiquette that I probably couldn’t restrain myself from professing. You’re a better man than I, Pilot Ryan. 👍🏻
Think it through bro, conversing goes a long way because respect is a two way street. They're dues paid members of the flying field as well. If someone had to stop flying or quit what they were doing everytime a camera was out no one would be flying.
Ryan, Bobby. Love them OMP planes. Easy to assemble and just toss it around. The model you fly in this one even has some carbon fiber reinforced frame built in it. Soweeet. Sure wish they would expand their horizons and zip out some small balsa warbirds. 👍👍😎
Awesome! Been waiting for your review of this aircraft. Definitely worth the wait. So nice, I watched it twice. Great job on this beautiful aircraft and you display it well. Nice work!
I quit flying because of the loud gassers. I couldn't hear my transmitter or my motor or even the person talking next to me. I guess there is a place for gassers, but not in my life. I flew them as a youngster and glad they are in my past.
Please clarify your recommendations on prop size. I just purchased this model and the Buddy RC website says the included prop ( a 13X7 ) is for use with a 4S battery. They recommend a 12X6.5 for a 3S battery. I thought I heard you say that the included prop was for use with the 3S. Thanks for any recommendation you can give.
I have this plane and it actually recommends the opposite on the box label and in the manual than what the website states now. 13 x 7 or 13x6 for 3S and 12x6.5 for the 4S. If you read the original text description on the OMP website now, it still says 12x6 for 4S. The new description is wrong. You can also watch videos from when it was first released in the spring and see Merry Boozer reference the prop size. Love OMP and Buddy RC, but consistency is definitely not their forte.
@@jt200drivr Thanks for the input. I will run my own power checks with my watt meter and decide which prop best suits my needs. I find that most of the manuals for any brand of model leave a lot to be desired. Contradictions in many areas of the build and flight control settings are pretty common. On this model, they left out the control throws and the CG data. Makes you wonder about quality control. A shame to have such poor quality manuals.
@@matthewmorrissey2568 it’s a very stable plane. Depending on your throws you shouldn’t need much rudder to coordinate turns at all. As a model the power to weight is crazy strong. If you didn’t use any rudder the plane can handle it
Aw, that's a gorgeous balsa..I heard a rude but delightful sound in the background...🤯🤔🤫
Nothing flies like a wooden model!! Nice job guys!! I have a red one in the box that I need to get off my duff and assemble!!
Hey Rick. It does fly very very well. You’ll enjoy it
You can have that bird assembled in a few hours, and yes balsa birds fly way better than foamies. I have the red one also.

I let him have it after the camera quit rolling.

You had me at Red White and Blue 👍
She does terrific inverted flat spins. Needs a lot of throw. Put in a good amount of expo also.
I like that one!
great flight ! tnx for vid...nice !
All the mop products I have enjoyedp
Awesome Review, Nice size for transporting to the field.✌✌😎⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🎥🎬🎞
Beautiful Decathlon!!
That OMP is a super nice bird in size and flying. Absolutely love it.
Good looking plane
Fantastic flying, really like the OMP Super Decathlon, fun to fly and looks great. Jeff in LA USA
Wow what a sick model. Rips on a 3s too!! Very cool guys👍👊✌️👏

Nice job guys! Looks like a sweet little flier. Thanks for bringing us awesome content!
Beautiful plane King Rat !!!! 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
Sweet!
Saweet!
It handles 4S just fine out of the box. All mine has ever seen is 4000 4S.

Where is your balance point ?
1/3 max chord, fat part of airfoil then forward a tick
Would this be a good trainer plane for a beginner, flying slow with AS3X?

Omp. Spell check
Haha, MOP's the competition?😆
What’s your rudder mix?
None, I do t do rudder mixes
@@PilotRyanMedia how much rudder would you say you use in turns? Is it a pretty stable plane? Thanks :)

anybody figure out the CG dimension on it? Cant find it in the directions
...if only the wing was fully symmetrical instead of flat bottomed. Even the full size has a semi symmetrical wing.
It would be nice if your club mates would let you have the air and not run gassers for all of five minutes while you film your review.
Yep
