Campaign does not have the added benefits of certain FPS caps. Except when it comes to slow-mos, which is why the 250FPS cap rule was introduces. Playing at 125 does not change anything really. Just makes ground strafing a bit slower. Multiplayer has it's own benefits for the caps
MP has these certain effects because of how CoD4 handles packets over the network. We thought campaign benefitted of these caps for a long time, but thay isn't the case. BO1 on the other hand does, because even the Campaign client has online capability due to Zombies being on it.
