I’ve had a 25th anniversary since new, I took it to a Luther last year locally in Billericay to get him to set it up for me, seeing as the only thing it’s had work done was a new nut since new, he said apart from a clean it’s fine, in the 80s and 90s it was my only guitar for gigs, anyway I now have the 75 year anniversary of the forming of the company, so my 25th anniversary is pretty much retired, and yes I do like the anniversary written across the top on the 25th, pity they didn’t put it on the 75th
@@JimBobDewayne the 25th Anniversary strat the i am talking about is from 79 Cause that’s the 25th anniversary of the stratocaster This 75th anniversary strat is from the start of the fender company in 1946. Look up the info before you start to comment about it!
I don't see the big deal about having Anniversary on the front of the guitar. However it may or may not wear out some due to your picking hand over time.
Fender prides itself on imitating car culture, but I think these days it hasn’t worked out to its favor… Today’s cars are known for being painted dull black, white, or silver. Fender unfortunately followed suit. Wish we could get bright candy apple red and blue and some of the cool neon colors from 80’s superstrats
Yep, plastic sadly... I got the 75th Telecaster and that was the weak link. I put a Tusq nut in and it gets more play time than my high end Americans...
A humbucker that aint the real strat way just go and get a HM if you want a humbucker. A standard strat should have 3 single coils like they are suppossed to
@@_vixen_4504 Agreed on a "real" Strat being SSS (the HM is a totally different guitar). But some of us prefer a humbucker in the bridge and still get the middle/neck and neck position that an HSS setup offers.
This guitar was my first introduction into an actual “Fender” and it’s become my daily driver. I love it so much and will never let it go
Saaaaame
I still have my 25th Silver anniversary Stratocaster. I received it as a Christmas gift 🎁 one year. It’s one heavy piece of ash, but I still love it!✨
I wish fender did the matching painted headstock a little more often.

Bought this strat at a local music shop along with an Op Amp Big Muff, both being great additions to my rig. Love those Vintera pickups.
The Anniversary model looks better in your video than it does in photos. Sounded awesome!
Have this guitar...absolute pleasure to play..love it
I had a day job at a music store when the 25th came out. We couldn't give them away!
Wow i wish i was there i would have loved a 25th anniversary from 79

When is the Fender American Ultra Luxe Floyd Rose Stratocaster review due? 🤔

Debbie Downer
Would buy one........and did.....:)
I have one of these Strats and love it..guitar has a lot of bite! But also spanky when you want it to be
I have the american 60th anniversary strat, with the s-1 switch. It's awesome. Just sayin' 🙂

@oddist yeah they need other colors added like slime green and hot rod red
Can you take a guitar home to try out?
Synthetic Bone nut as in plastic nut?!

I think you forgot to do the clean tones 😂
this guitar sounds like a squier!!??
If it had a humbucjer id be in, as it is its pretty but alas not for me matey.

Sooner or later you're gonna have to add a shiver me timbers 😉

@@raytorvalds3699 the HM has a HSS setup

clearly you give anyone a strat and they turn into a boomer. no thanks
Can't stand Fender single coils! They sound thin and weak like they're barely picking up the sound of the guitar!
I played this strat in person and it actually sounded really good, much better than some american strats I played during the same session
Sounds out of tune and crap. No thanks.
Tone deaf spotted HAHAHAHA
