One that I have for a city carved into a cliff face: The Crow's Nest This wooden tavern is on a cliffside - the first time the party come here, after about 20 minutes someone yells "heigh ho" and another voice responds "heigh ho" then the tavern begins to move. It's on an intricate series of ropes and pulleys and moves up and down and across the cliff face. People stop in to use it to get up or down, or they stay in one of the rooms carved into the cliff face which the tavern visits every evening and morning.
Love the idea of haphazard, great idea and name haha. Really love a lot of these and that you included plot hooks to different quests that could get involved is also awesome, great work!
I'm absolutely going to steal Haphazard! It's so cool. Unfortunately my players are in Icewind Dale at the moment so it may be a while before they go anywhere with people rich enough to frequent it XD Edit: Scratch that I'm gonna use all of these. Keep up the amazing stuff mate
I’m glad you like them all, especially Haphazard! And you never know, maybe there’s a mage looking to bring a little class to his frozen backwater town!
you either start in a tavern or an active war zone. there is NO inbetween in DND (and sometimes both)🤣
So true! Total calm or total chaos!
@@spicyboi544 "both" were the nicest examples

Feel free to use as inspiration for your own version in a future video
That’s awesome, part tavern, part elevator! Very cool, thanks for sharing!

Such cool monsters! I made a video a while ago about underrated DnD creatures and they had to be included!
@ one of my favorites
nice video!! my taverns are always more of the Medieval inne, where it is somewhere to get some food, a room, and something to drink
I definitely throw those in as well most of the time! The perfect pit stop!
A good tavern can give a group a great base of operations. I love all of yours. Thank you for what you do. Keep up the great work!
