- Today we are in the mystical Blue Mountains having Jamaica's national dish for dinner! This is probably the most popular dish in Jamaica: Ackee and Saltfish. We are staying at the Rasta Camp also known as School of Vision just outside of Kingston. Chin is an amazing cook, she is starting a TH-cam channel @cjfamilyforlife8618 and has an instagram documenting her natural products / chin_anniebeauty

Fantastic video, all around good vibes makes me really wanna work towards being able to come visit the settlement and chill in that amazing treehouse and enjoy life for what it is. Hopefully one day I will not have to worry about finances and just visit all the amazing places Mathew has filmed and just take them in. No phones, no internet, just pure life. @Da Royal General I love it up here, Jamaica much more serene but it's nice here in the Shenandoah valley,lived here my whole life and loved every moment of it, Jamaica is my dream home though,one day but thanks for the ups brotha..respect,I'm a head chef at a Japanese restaurant here and I love mokko and Matthews way of life,would love to get more into Jamaican food stuff so this videos are the best for being chill and informative..big ups Matthew for posting and bless up to Matthew,coppy,ratty,mokko the man,and the school of vision

@@lovingpia27 yeah it's nice here right now when all the leaves change I live like 10 minutes from luray caverns and have gone many times and I love it,skyline drive also nice in the fall
@Da Royal General yeah it's because I'm a chef that I got into watching mokko and have always wanted to do Jamaican style food but there aren't restaurants around here but yeah I'm about an hour outside of Richmond but that's mostly city like d.c. now,and I grew up with an Italian grandmother who raised me and taught me to cook and I like Japanese culture so that's what got me into that
Even 'top chef' Mokko would be be impressed with the dish.
I could eat this everyday!
Oh I hope to tour JA just like this when I finally go! Wish my family built the foundation there that’s supposed to be home🙏🏾

The only single thing I'd change is maybe swap the vegetable seed oil for a coconut oil or butter, other than that looks delicious! : )
