"Singer of the year" (Opernwelt) Diana Damrau bounds from one
phenomenal success to the next, appearing on the world's leading
stages. Yet in spite of her busy private and professional life, the
soprano agreed to let filmmaker Beatrix Conrad accompany her over the course of nine months. We are there, at performances and
rehearsals in Geneva, New York, Paris and Munich, at recitals and
the recording studio. The film portrays a high-intensity, jet-set life
tempered by the harmony of a rewarding family life with her
husband, her parents and, at the end of the film, with her newborn
baby!
she is so sweet in person, and a great singer, a legendary Queen

she's also a great actress and when she actS "the queen of the night" is amazing, it's a real pleasure just watching her face and mimic. I DO LOVE HER.

Thank you for this wonderful film - it goes back to 2010/11 and it is fascinating to see where life, career and family have taken her since then. She really is an incredible talent - as singer, actress, and even dancer. What a tremedous flamenco she did there. Great portrait - wish her all the very best.
